Nice food, good service, great location and views

Lovely food, great service! Best Indian food I have had in a long time! Did not expecting find it in Canberra esp with such a great view on the water.. would come often if I was living close by! Thanks a lot people!!

Very noisy restaurant with no respect for people living above and around it. Families are always so loud and do not control their screaming kids which just sit outside yelling until late at night.

Great location, friendly staff, good service u0026 delicious food. Good selection of Indian dishes that you may not get at other indian restaurants.

One of the good Indian restaurants in Canberra. If you feel like having north Indian food, than you can visit and have some amazing food. I ordered my food via menulog. It was fresh and nicely cooked. My dinner was Kadhai Paneer —- really nice Plain Naan Tandori roti Raita Kachumber - really nice Thank you 7 by the lake @7bythelake #7bythelake

We dine out a lot especially at Indian restaurants and this food was magnificent. The depth of flavour was the best we've had. The staff were so helpful, engaging and friendly. Will dine here again.

Fantastic experience! The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. The service was first class and our waitress was friendly, polite and very efficient. Tonight the restaurant was booked for a private function, however we were fortunate enough to be offered an outside table ( for 6 of us) with an outdoor heater...and a great view of the lake by night. We received outstanding service from the restaurant owner and our waitress, despite them having to also cater for their function guests. We will definitely be returning to 7 by the Lake and we recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great Indian cuisine and first class service.

Absolutely amazing food and very friendly staff. Travelling and eating alone isn't my first preference but the staff at 7 by the lake made the experience very pleasurable. Can't recommend highly enough.
