Ordered the eggs benedict and chicken burger. Overall was good even though the portion for the eggs benedict could be slightly bigger. Nice atmosphere and plenty of tables. Coffee nice and rich in flavour.

Highly recommended cafe to have brunch or coffee. It is located at the ground floor of the museum. Have lots of seats indoor and outdoor. The outdoor seating has amazing view of the lake. You order at the counter and the waiters will get your food to your table. We ordered fish and chips, fried chicken burger and pulled pork banh mi. All of them are pretty good.

Had a light snack (sausage roll) was ok u0026 a pot of tea. Table outside has beaut views over the Lake except - watch out for the ever present marauding birds! Entertaining to watch their antics but keep everything well covered. - the birds are very bold. Really nice ambience with the bright space inside with views but a bit noisy at peak time. Food is a bit pricey but there is a good selection on the menu with lots of cool drinks u0026 ice creams. Order u0026 pay at counter u0026 get your table number u0026 find a place to sit. Popular with visitors to Museum.

Try their Red Beans and cheese Toastie. We sat at the very end facing the lake, nice view, spotted Rabbits. If you plan to sit there, beware of pesky birds.

I had lunch with my lovely wife. Always choose the museum for their fantastic food and great views of the lake! We chose the museum again for our Friday lunch and decided to sit outside, a little bit chilly outside but we were nice and rugged up so we could manage. We ordered some delicious cheese burger and my wife had the chill beans, with coffees to compliment. We had two mixed experiences, so I will start with the negative. The gentleman who bought us our drinks did not even address us or ask us how we were doing, simply placed the drinks on the table and walked away. We were delivered our food by a lovely young lady but didn’t grab her name unfortunately. Food and drinks were lovely as usual! We asked for some water from this lovely young lady and we began chatting about how cold it was starting to get with the winter creeping in. She was absolutely delightful and offered to get us some more sauces. From memory her name was Belle. Just an absolute delight and will definitely be looking out for her next time we are here!

Very nice cafe inside the Australian museum. Menu always has vegan (usually 2 options in the regular menu + 2 options in the daily specials) and dairy free options. They also have a delicious vegan Cornish pasty and dark chocolate raspberry tart. Soy latte is always good. We have had their soup of the day several times and they are always delicious, they taste fresh and the bread is very good. Nice ambience and beautiful views. Staff is friendly and service is great.

LOVE the Museum Cafe. Excellent food, delicious coffee with friendly service and beautiful lake views. The location is very nostalgic for me, so glad we can enjoy beautiful meals with stunning views.

Absolutely delicious breakfast and outstanding views. Coffee was best around, lots of food and cake options.
