The Penthouses

The Penthouses is a great place to stay, the apartment was perfect for our party of six. The location is fantastic, being on the beachfront and with the cycle / walking pathway along the Gold Coast running past directly next to the property. Situated between Surfers and Broadbeach is the perfect place as everything is in close proximity.

We stayed recently at the Penthouses which is right on the beach. Gold Coast is amazing and we were in a spacious three bedder on the 18th floor with the best views ever overlooking the beautiful blue skies, the ocean and the hinterlands. The bonus was that the patrolled beach with the flags was right in front and we felt safe in the water and sunbathing. Our full self contained unit was clean and adequate and we would say good value with the panoramic views and amazing breezes. We enjoyed long walks on the wide open pristine sandy beaches to Broadbeach and Surfers followed by a dip in the resort pool and spa which was so relaxing. The nearby markets and restaurants in Surfers and Broadbeach offered great convenience and variety and the whole experience was enjoyable. We also caught a glimpse of the whales migrating which made it even more memorable. For the price we paid, we definitely will plan on returning to the Penthouses.

The apartment had great space and is in a great location. As we walked in the door you can smell it is musty! The apartments need a good renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms, the beds squeaked every time you moved. The penthouse apartments need a little bit of TLC.

Location was good. Apartment was big enough. Does need refurbishment. Wifi did not work, had manager reset it, still not enough to load a webpage. Had to use my phone. Cockroaches around, had one crawl on my face in bed! Ad said air conditioning in the apartment- was only air con in main bedroom and it leaked. Other rooms had ceiling fans. Would not stay again.

We just had a wonderful family holiday here. Great location, kids just walked down the beach for surfing. Can walk to shopping Centre as well. Sometimes we ride lime bikes instead of walking which was really fun. The apartment is really spacious and clean, full equipment, has everything we need. And the manager couple are so nice and helpful. Thanks for making us an unforgettable holiday. Definitely we’ll come back!

Fantastic location and beautiful view of the beach however our king bed was two single beds pushed together and all 4 aircon units didn’t work even when asked the customer service was poor. It was very hot while we stayed there so it was very disappointing not to have aircon or be moved to an apartment with aircon. Chairs were dirty and lots of mould. Outdoor couch for living area.

The apartment wasn't particularly clean and the provisions weren't great. No dishwashing detergent and only 2 dishwashers tablets for 6 nights. But the location was great and the size was good. The whole place needs a good upgrade.
