07-31-2023 22:13We had such a wonderful brunch at this humble and welcoming Japanese restaurant. Decorated with much influence from Japan, from the wall to the cutleries to the bar. It was like we were transported to Japan for a moment. Emily who served us was highly informative with the food and we ordered all of which she had recommended and boy, they didn’t disappoint either! She was friendly and smiley - such a lovely lady! When the food was that good, we knew we had to go revisit the second time and we did! Few days later, we went back for dinner just to ascertain the vibe and of course to try more dishes from the menu. This time around, Ayden greeted us pleasantly and seated us to our table. It was a frantically busy Thursday evening, but he was friendly, well mannered and welcoming. You can tell he’s good at his job! There was Ken too whom I believed was still a trainee, on his second week. He’s meticulously thorough when he was cleaning the tables and preparing the cutleries. It was a breath of fresh air to see how one takes his job so seriously, and how well put together the training this restaurant has for the staffs. I shall let the pictures do the talking. It was reasonably priced for the portion so please do yourselves a favour and make a trip to The Donburi House! Please do ensure you make a reservation before visiting as they get quite busy.

07-03-2023 21:38We had an amazing lunch at Donburi House today. The staff was super friendly and made us extra veggies that wasn’t even on the menu. The food 🍱 🥘 was just so lovely. I swear I could have double the amount cuz it’s that good! Highly recommended, especially at noon when it’s not too busy. I read a few comments saying it’s really busy during dinner time. Well I can’t tell. But at least it’s a perfect experience at noon. LOVE IT!

07-01-2023 16:08Beautiful presentation of food but kitchen is slow in getting food out. We had a group dinner where 2 of them had feed me menu and the rest of us just had one mains each. Unless it’s because it was the feed me menu slow us down , nearly 60 minutes to get our mains. Recommend if feed me menu must apply to whole table … very slow for one dish

06-07-2023 06:42loved the Don here, super diverse choices here. First time to try the Chazuke, a bit surprise. According to the recommendation from ins it says Chazuke is a traditional Japanese dish, translating to submerged in tea as it is quite literally submerged in a fragrant and warm mix of hot green tea and a dashi broth. 06-01-2023 01:36Come here around. 7.45pm Sunday, there were like 2 tables with the food already been served. We ordered 4 dishes and a sweet potato chips. We had to wait around 1 hr for the food. Asked the staff usually if the kitchen take so long to make the food like this, she said because there were also takeaway orders. I don’t know how many order the restaurant has that time but have to wait 1 hr just for the yakiniku don then got surcharge 10% for Sunday? I’m good with the surcharge as long as the food is good and the service is nice but the food here is just so so, taste a bit too salty for me and the service was meh. I guess this first time will also be the last time that I come to this restaurant

04-30-2023 15:50Haven't eaten there yet. Had a few takeaways before. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders today so my partner and I decided to treat ourselves a nice dinner. Ordered ”Set for two from Panda Express(an app, and if you choose to pickup yourself, 15% off will be offered.) It has what shows in the photos and a can of coke. This was the second time we ordered this set. The meat in the rice bowls was cooked to perfection. When I say perfection I mean PERFECTION.(Well, with this price, extra perfect?) The sauce could be a bit sweet to some but hey not to these Taiwanese, no. Same comment applied to the chicken skewers. If you haven't tried this restaurant, and you like Asian/Japanese food, give it a go. You won't regret it. We are definitely going back for more.
