10-26-2023 17:34DO NOT PREORDER VIDEO GAMES WITH THEM - I was one of the first people to preorder a video game that came with an exclusive item, and as such was told that I would undoubtedly receive the item. I knew I could not pick it up on release date so I called two days before to specifically ask them to keep a hold of my exclusive item. Once I went to pick up my video game with the exclusive item the day after release date, they told me they had given them out as “first come first serve”, completely disregarding the fact I was one of the first to preorder and my request to hold onto my exclusive item. Absolute trash service.

07-31-2023 13:10I have noticed over my last several visits that the Best Buy stores seem to be moving to an online model. What I mean is, as you go through the store, the in stock merchandise feels very limited. There is merchandise on display, but nearly nothing to nothing on the shelves. There are definitely TONS of televisions in the stores, but everything else felt like display only. I have gone to look for: camera's and lenses: memory cards: cell phone accessories: electronic cables: and speakers. Although they did have most (but not everything labeled with shelf space even had a display), I found it difficult to find what I needed. This does not apply solely to this Best Buy. This is one of 3 that I try to visit. It did feel like the order online and ship to store our home is the prevailing theme. With multiple large retail spaces... it just doesn't feel sustainable. I'm sad.

07-19-2023 15:04My online order was delivered without the item. Just the box. I don't know if it was not packed, or somebody stole within the 45 minutes of me getting to the mailbox when I got the delivery message. Website chat rep told me to go to this branch since this was the closest one (still 40 min away from my house) with my item in stock. I drove there, only to find out I was informed incorrectly. They can't give me replacement for online orders ended up like my situation. But they (I believe their names were Kelly and ... forgot the name of the rep who helped me together) helped me all the way to call the corp office and be on the phone with them for 30 minutes or so. The resolution was not perfect, but way beyond my expectation of what I remember as Best Buy. I could see they put themselves in my shoes and tried their best to help me out. Those small incidents will lead customers like me tooting for Best Buy, and that's much more powerful than any commercials. They made my day.

06-09-2023 01:30A Security Breach on Mom's computer brought us to the Geek Squad at Mueller location of Best Buy. 24 hours later, her laptop was scrubbed and humming! With our permission, They had also updated ALL of the anti-virus and driver files, and replaced a speed-dragging dinosaur anti-popup with a jet-age freebie! Over time, you settle into poor It's Old performance and forget what's missing. But NOW this 4 year old computer boots up so fast I don't have Time to go get a coffee! 🤣 Excellent‼️🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉

04-29-2023 03:06I purchased a new computer from a Best Buy up in North Austin after hearing that my laptop couldn’t be fixed. After less than a day, it wouldn’t charge. I took it to this location (closer to where I live) to buy a new charger. The geek squad was able to take a look at it and determine that the issue was the computer itself. I hadn’t gotten a protection plan (I was going to take this weekend to decide what plan I wanted or if I just wanted the Acer warranty), but they helped me anyway. It was a computer problem. They gave me the addresses for locations that carried the laptop. Saved me $60 I would have otherwise dropped on a new charger. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Will shop here again.

We are absolutely in love with it and he was so kind and explained so much too us we didn’t know. He deserves employee of the month🖤

03-06-2023 04:17Nobody on the sales floor to help. 5+ sales associates standing around doing nothing and actively avoiding you. One to three people working register helping the long line of people and picking up the slack. Have to stand in the long checkout line and bother the register person who works nonstop to get any of the sales associates attention. Once you get the privilege of being greeted by a commissioned sales associate they have an attitude as if I ruined their day for asking them to unlock a case. Choose amazon instead.
