10-21-2023 14:15It's cozy on the inside. Perfect place to bring a date. I had a few there. The location is unique. You see and feel it before looking into the history of it. It's a historic landmark distillery. It's located off the bike path that runs along the Brooklyn Waterfront. If you're going for a bike ride along the water front, it's a perfect rest stop between Red Hook and Williamsburg. It's located in Brooklyn Navy Yard, so you have so many options in the area once you leave. I went 2-3 times and got drinks. I believe they might have tours and classes. I would inquiry in advance to get the most out of your visit there.

07-27-2023 23:34I recently visited on my birthday, as my treat. We walked over the Brooklyn bridge and tied in a few things around Dumbo. The tour is very informative, and their products are fantastic. Even managed to meet the distillery cat whilst we were there. Picked up a bottle of the Eaves Blind as a birthday gift to myself.

06-01-2023 12:21Made the trip here from Manhattan as it was highly recommend. Very welcoming atmosphere and unique inside. The cocktails were good but the bourbon was delicious just to taste on its own. I bought a small bottle of the spiced whiskey. It’s like everything you love about the fall season in a glass! I made the small bottle last a year it was so delicious.

05-25-2023 18:40Really great whiskey distillery in Brooklyn! Loved their rustic decor and intimate vibe. Highly recommend their hot drinks! Edit : A note to the owner - please please bring back the Peates Rye Whiskey! That’s all my husband keeps talking about … and we hear that you discontinued it! 😭

05-07-2023 10:47Came on a qeekday afternoon for a tour. It was informational but very brief and general. It was cool to see and hear the history of the distillery. After the tour, we got to sample their bourbons. Nothing really blew me away or warranted buying a bottle, but I'm kind of a bourbon snob, so maybe that's a me problem. I'm sure they'd make a nice mixed drink.

03-22-2023 07:08Amazing experience!!! We did the whiskey tasting. Hannah taught us so much about Brooklyn Navy Yard and Vinegar Hill! Hannah is AH-Mazing! We will be back for the tour. I loved learning about the neighborhood especially being from Farragut houses! Book a tasting asap it’s absolutely worth every penny!

03-20-2023 14:34Did the whiskey tour, and had a great experience. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable, and it was a small intimate experience that enabled for a personable and enjoyable time. We learned a lot and enjoyed the tastings. The jalapeño grapefruit whiskey was surprisingly delicious! We will be returning to tot tasting room and would recommend the tour to anyone looking to learn more about whiskey and the history of distillery in Brooklyn.
