Didn't listen to what I asked for. I went to the short hair specialist and she cut all my hair off to the point where it looks like I'm growing it back after being bald... I feel horrible as one would after an awful haircut. Do not recommend at all! She didn't listen to anything I said and ended up doing the version she liked but I said I didn't want. Never going back!

I can’t rave enough about this salon, Tina and her staff. My hair has NEVER looked better! The cut, the color, EVERYTHING! Tina is a master colorist and to say she is knowledgeable is an understatement. If you are looking for the best place in Lakeland to get your hair done, look no further than the Copper Penny!

If you like red hair you definitely want to go see Lacey at Copper Penny. She is amazing. I couldn’t be happier with my hair and the way her red stays. I drive almost an hour to Lakeland to just see her. The service and quality I receive from Lacey and this saloon is the best. I would definitely recommend.

It's been almost a year since I went to this salon, but I've been very scared to post my review, because I was afraid of the backlash that I might've gotten. I had an appointment with Lacey. This was my first time going to a high end 5 star salon (at the time of my going), and I had long hair that I couldn't manage anymore, and needed something new. Lacey was nice enough, and nice to talk to. I do want to point that out. We absolutely had a nice chat the whole time. However, the appointment was pushed back by an hour, but I was willing to work with her on it, since I had the whole day off for my hair. I get in at the new time, and it takes about 30 minutes for her to get done with another client. Again, no problem. I'm not one to rush unless I have something going on, but my plans were just about my hair that day. Lacey already new what I was wanting to do. I wanted an angled bob with Red Wine hair. After Lacey cut my hair and colored it, I asked her earlier about having my bangs trimmed to an angle cut, to also have my bob styled a certain way, in which she said she could absolutely do. I did notice she was drying my hair after washing the color out, but I didn't say anything, because she was the professional, but she didn't fix the bob to the way I wanted it, and she she didn't cut my bangs. I also asked her about shaving the under-part of my hair, as my hair is super thick, but she assured me that I didn't need to do that, and I still feel like that is something that I should've pressed her to do anyways, but I let her talk me out of it. She had another client waiting, and near the end of my appointment, it felt like she was super rushing me out the door so she can get to her next appointment. I wasn't happy with the ending of that experience, especially since I made the appointment in advance so I can secure the amount of time needed to do my hair. The service did not live up the 5 Star Rating that it had at that time, and I do not plan to go back. I do hope others have a better experience than me.

I had my hair done by Ashley and OMG the results were amazing. I am a brunette and have always had bright red hair but the stylist I would go to would always damage my hair. Ashley convinced me to give her a chance after I had already grew out my natural hair and had absolutely no dye and I am glad I did. My hair is still long and healthy and the color I've always loved having it. I highly recommend you go to Ashley. The establishment is also very clean and well maintained!
