Candid Review: If I'm honest, when I decided to visit Medcenter TMJ I was worried that I would end up wasting money and time on a treatment that was not successful and didn't alleviate my pain. Boy was I wrong. I have been to many doctors in my life, but working with Dr. Pettit and his team was one of my best medical experiences. Dr Pettit is honest and straightforward about the chance of success and never blindly promised any sort of results. The office treats the issue holistically and gives the patient tools that can aid with the life-long condition of TMJ. My results after 6 months of treatment (and yes, I followed the instructions and did the work at home as well) are astounding. The condition isn't gone, because that is not how TMJ works, but my earaches are GONE, my morning headaches are GONE, my popping is FAR BETTER, I can open my jaw much wider, and I overall have far less pain. I now go through my day and don't think about the pain of my head, my jaw, my neck and that is just AMAZING. If anyone is considering treatment for TMJ, I would HIGHLY suggest Dr. Pettit and his team. They are not only wonderful at their job, but wonderful people. I can say I will actually miss coming into the office.

My dentist sent a referral over to them and they said they would call me. They never did so I had to call them they said they don’t take insurance and the initial visit was going to be $550. I was said I don’t have that money they said call us back when you do.I said screw you guy and hang up. Seems more of a cash grab place that’s not really interested in actually people. I few weeks back I popped my jaw and my ear began to ring pressure in my ear that is effective my memory. They ask for to much to go in and didn’t even offer a payment option instead the remark was call us back when you have $550

Great experience here, but most importantly, the treatment works for me. I've had tmj for 30 years and this group has kept my headaches and pain under control. Just got new appliance and had no problems transitioning. Dr Petit did a great job fitting it. I'm very thankful to have such an effective treatment close to home

I first saw Dr. Pettit in 2017 after experiencing sudden onset symptoms of TMJ derangement. I saw another surgery specialist who recommended an invasive wash out of the joint, which I balked at. I then went to see Med Center TMJ where they used state of the art technology to image my joint and bite. They made a custom fit appliance that I wore continuously for several months, and it fully fixed my issue. I still wear it at night to maintain positioning, but I was very impressed with the results. To top it off, the office is very relaxing and the staff very accommodating to help put you at ease. 5 stars definitely.

The whole staff at MedCenter TMJ truly care about their patients. Dr. Pettitt is amazing. He not only helped with my initial TMJ pain but also helps with ongoing maintenance. The entire team is top notch.

This place truly saved my life! I was referred to Dr. Pettit after my night guard caused my jaw to start popping and eventually lock. I was diagnosed with disc displacement without reduction, essentially meaning one of my jaw joints no longer had the capability to move anywhere close to its full potential (it was basically locked in one place). Yes, it is on the expensive side, but is saving me from a lifetime of pain! Before seeing Dr. Pettit, I was in 24/7 pain/soreness and barely able to take a bite of food. I would cry wondering if this could ever get fixed, and although there was no cure for me, I have been so happy with the outcome and couldn't have asked for better treatment and pain management techniques.

I really appreciate Dr. Pettit making things right. I do like the device and wear it every night.

Great place. If you notice the reviewer before myself, you will see he has a history of getting mean and accusations, not one decent review of a company. One should also review for the good, not all just bad reviews. The person who reviewed before me seems like he is a very unhappy person. No business is running as a charity and too many people who receive credit do not pay the bills so the ones who pay end up paying more. I have worked at companies who have offered credit and so many customers never pay the bills and some went out of business ONLY because of that.
