Sheena is wonderful! Our son learned how to advocate for himself and how to safely cross the street with his guardian. Which Sheena manages with ease. Our son learned tons about pets and plant life and even went on some berry tasting excursions, lol. Most importantly, my wife and I felt completely comfortable and confident in Sheena's abilities to keep our son safe and happily exploring the world around him. We were very lucky to have found Sheena when we did and to have her with our son for the year.

Sheena has taken care of our son since he was about 5 months old and has been the absolute best for him and has been the best fit for our family. She is treats him like he were a member of her family. It feels like he’s going to a real home. They eat together at a little table, nap, and play with all her cool wooden toys. I also love that she takes them outside everyday to play and visit the gardens and sometimes her chicken coupe for some eggs. My son is always happy to go to her house and comes home happy and tired from a fun day with all his friends. When we were thinking of moving, we specifically only looked in areas where we could still take our son to Sheena’s because we love her daycare so much! I feel so lucky that we found her!

When we started trying to find childcare for out son, we had no idea that we could find a place as utterly perfect as FreeSpirit Daycare. The minute our son met Sheena, he connected with her, and we did too. We can see his development coming along by leaps and bounds as he takes daily child-led walks in the neighborhood parks, tries new vegetables in the community garden, and tries so many healthy foods (that he never eats at home) on Sheena's magical wood plates. Sheena's home is a child's paradise, filled with toys, books, plants, and a menagerie of animals. I feel so much more confident as a parent with Sheena's calming expertise in the mix, making sure my son is learning, growing, and having soooo much fun every day.

We are so grateful to Sheena for her nurturing approach to our child’s development and safety. She has become an extension of our little family. Our little one is learning so much through the outdoor exploration, play, music, dance, costumes, pets, and more that Sheena provides. She also feeds her kids such healthy food, and gives them the opportunity to try a variety of new flavors and textures. FreeSpirit is the best!
