Super 8 by Wyndham Phoenix/Mesa/Gilbert Road

This facility was awful. As far as the property, and it smells like marijuana in the hallways and elevators. The dead bolts on all the doors we saw were broken, there were cigarette burn holes in our bedding, they were bottle caps, etc. under the bed, there was human fecal matter in the elevator. There was several people hanging around in the hallways, and in the front who looked more like street gangs, than guests. It was obvious they were long-term residents and not traveling guests. Situation seemed very unsafe. I would not even walk to my car in the parking lot without my husband. We did not even want to leave our luggage in the room unattended. We ended up, leaving without staying, but did not get refunded even though we reported the conditions.

At least 3 roaches in the room, had to ask for cleaner to clean our own room, smelled so bad of smoke, hot tub was dirty and cloudy, volume on the TV wouldnt adjust either at 55 or 0, blanket was stained in I don't even want to know what. Pictures of the rooms did it no justice. This hotel should be condemned!

This place constantly smells of fentanyl... If you have a weak stomach or can't deal with that smell like I can't. Do not book a room. Too much riffraff... I mean there is no deposit tho... So super 8 you are not very super here!!!

Horrible! Absolutely gross 🤢 found a dead roach on the floor of my room. Dirty diaper and condom outside one of the entrances. Garbage can outside wasn't taken out. Staff just stood around talking at front desk instead of taking care of trash or anything. Drug addicts everywhere. Could smell the drugs throughout the stairwell. Staff was less than friendly. Free breakfast was just granola bars, coffee, and juice. Probably the worst place I've ever stayed. Not worth what I payed at $100 a night. Should have been like $25 if it's ever worth that. This place should be closed and revamped along with all new staff.

Well, this was the worst experience me and my son had pretty much ever gone through. Walked into the room it smelled like a mix of stale cigarette smoke and cat pee. I used an entire bottle of Febreze. Then, literally 15 min after checking in, went to the car to grab a couple things and was offered heroin. I wish I were exaggerating. We both didn't sleep at all with the constant and very loud banging. And everytime O went to take our chihuahua out to pee, was harassed for money or cigarettes. There hasn't been a quiet moment the entire night or moment. The only good thing here was the elderly cleaning lady who made sure our floors were dry before we got in and apologized if it wasn't the best because apparently a family with 4 dogs and children had just moved out that morning. I wish I read the reviews instead of booking this quickly. I never want to see my son this depressed again. I'm heartbroken for that.

Blood on shower curtain, hair dryer melted, nasty sink, flooring is coming up all over. The location is nasty and so is the kinds of people around it. Drug addicts circling like vultures. 100% sure i Breakfast consists if coffee and granola bars. Nobody ever cleaned. I stared at the same cookie in the stairwell for the whole trip. Staff is less than helpful, doing bare minimum. Expensive for no reason. Hot tub jacuzzi doesn’t jacuzzi like it says, pool area was riddled with trash and was also never cleaned. Cookie rapper swimming in the pool with me. Could've gotten better hospitality from a family of bedbugs. Its a surprise there isnt insects swarming to eat you alive as you take in your nightly Z’s.

This place needs knocked down u0026 rebuilt. Front desk clerk stunk like weed, so high she couldn’t function. She charged my credit card 3 times. Room was absolutely disgusting. Pictures must be very old. I opened the door to the room the smell of mold and the rooms uncleanliness made me walk away u0026 cancel immediately. Wish I had photos but I was so disgusted I needed to get out of there.
