10-19-2023 01:343/13/2021 So disappointed. I've always used this shop in the past and had found them helpful and reasonable. A couple of days ago I dropped off a new pair of skis I got to have the bindings adjusted to my boots. The gentleman told me it would be $20. When I went to pick them up today, Saturday, March 13, 2021, he told me, It was a little more, because they were new skis. When I asked how much more he told me $40 instead of $20. I said, that's what you call a little more? Double? Why? It's just the policy for new skis. Again, when I questioned why, it's no more work; the bindings are mounted; they just need to be adjusted for size and DIN setting. He agreed it was no more work; it was just the policy set by the woman who owned the shop. I asked if he didn't think I should have been called first. His response was that he could put the settings back to where they were! He would do additional work and collect nothing rather than take the $20 he had quoted me two days earlier for the same exact work! What kind of customer service is that? Anyway, they beat me for an extra $20 but lost a longtime customer plus all the people that ask my opinion that I had formerly sent there. My previous strong recommendations will now be, Don't go to Ridgeline!

08-07-2023 01:42If you plan to rent used equipment at this store make sure you buy insurance for it. I was renting a snowboard and wasn't offered any insurance and lone and behold one of the leg fixtures has broken off so not only I wasn't able to use it after that and rent another board at resort but upon return I've been charged for repairs. The board was hot waxed though.

07-21-2023 23:43It's 6:20pm. Spent 35 mins in traffic trying to get to this place and they're not even open during posted hours. This is why small business owner shops are a dying breed. How do you earn money if not catering to consumers that actually work 9-5 making money to spend in your store. Ugh. Going to REI.

07-05-2023 22:54Went here for a few years for skis/snowboards for my kids. Service had always been good, but on day 1 of my 11-year old using a snowboard last season, the previously used (for how many seasons?) board cracked mid-trail - didn't hit a tree or anything. The footpad had fallen off earlier in the day, so the board seemed to have had other issues. The Rome board felt MUCH thinner and lighter than other Burton boards we've rented, and a search online seemed to suggest they may break easier (although I'm no expert, just going by observation and online searches). Hadn't taken the insurance on the board (don't recall it even being offered back in August when I paid for the rentals), but there clearly seemed to be some sort of undiscovered defect/damage to it for it to have 2 issues on the first day of usage for the season. Store didn't seem to care - they waited a month or so, never offered a replacement board, and then told me to pay $150 for the damaged board (on top of the $100 rental that yielded 1 day of use). Having rented 3-4 sets of equipment for a few years and purchasing jackets, gloves, helmets and other gear from them over the years, I sort of expected a better outcome, but they seemed to value short term $ over long term customer relationships - take from that what you will. Mind you, I asked for a copy of my rental agreement to see what I was legally responsible for (which seemed like a reasonable request), but they never produced a copy. Not wanting an open dispute with them, I still paid the $150 when I turned in the rest of my equipment, hoping they may offer me some sort of credit toward the next season, but nothing came of that. So, if you rent here, I strongly suggest getting the insurance and a copy of your rental agreement and policy, since the store apparently won't stand behind equipment that's pre-used and potentially pre-damaged. Still give them 3 stars for the years of good service before this, and truly liked the store and the people that worked there, but regretfully, heading back to Sundown...(and I'll buy the insurance!).

06-25-2023 12:43I had questions about mounting my skis and the staff went above and beyond answering my questions. The staff was on the phone with me during non-store hours and gave me plenty of options on how to fix my problem. Never had such incredible customer service like this before. Would absolutely recommend to anyone
