Dr. Max M. Steele, MD

Best doctor ever! Saved my life. He did a c section delivery and biopsied cysts discovering I had ovarian cancer. Most doctors don't do this. He is gentle, kind and very knowledgeable. He let me make choices and decisions. The best!

Dr. Steele was my OB/GYN from 1985 until 2003. I've never had a better, more caring, and more on the ball doc than Dr. Steele. He took me through a number of female problems and performed numerous procedures for endometriosis/scar tissue adhesion issues. He delivered my son in 1993 and then a necessary hysterectomy in 1994. In 1995, he performed another needed procedure for continued endometriosis problems. Dr. Steele was always a compassionate professional who cared for me like I was a family member. I would recommend him to anyone, and if I still lived in SLC, I imagine he'd still be my doctor.

Dr Steele has been an amazing, doctor over the years. I had to make a change to a local female doctor due to a change in insurance and it turning into a nightmare, she didn't listen to my concerns and I ended up with a still born and almost bled out, it took me a year to recover from the blood loss. Our insurance changed back and I was able to come back to Doctor Steele. My next pregnancy had only a 20% chance of survival. Thanks to Dr Steele and his amazing knowledge he helped me deliver a beautiful baby boy and he was able to stop the hemorrhaging after the birth and allowed me to still keep my uterus when most doctor would have yanked it. He listens, he is brilliant and I am grateful he is still my doctor.
