04-18-2023 21:27We were having problems with our a/c unit. After hiring someone to fix the a/c and a lot of trouble shooting, the person recommended to hire an electrician to check the wiring. He recommended Mr. Renteria. We called Mr. Renteria. He came to the house; worked on the unit. The a/c seemed to be working okay. After a couple of hours the a/c stopped working again. Since Mr. Renteria gave us warranty on the labor, we called him again. He recommended changing the digital thermostat to a manual thermostat. We agreed. While his assistant was doing all the work by himself, Mr. Renteria spent the whole time complaining about customers and eventually starting talking down to us. Nothing was said to him at that moment. After his assistant installed the thermostat, we noticed that when the dial was set to pump only, it was blowing cold air. And when the dial was set to low, we would hear the pump only. It was clear that something was wrong. I mentioned it to Mr. Renteria. He didn't like it and began to insult us for hiring someone before him to fix the a/c; he insulted my family, and me. While he was busy arguing with me and insulting me, his assistant checked the wires. The assistant admitted to me that he had done the wiring wrong and apologized. I accepted the apology from the assistant and thank him for telling us about the mistake and for fixing it. Mr. Renteria was furious. He said he had nothing to apologize for because he did not make the mistake and his assistant should have not accepted the mistake because he could have been responsible for replacing the a/c unit. I cannot recommend Mr. Renteria based on his behavior and work ethics.
