Do NOT USE THEM. I took my lawn tractor in to replace a spindle on the mower deck. When I got it home, I immediately noticed the PTO engagement cable was installed improperly. I attempted to use the mower and it ran for 10 seconds and then failed. I returned it for service, and they informed me the cable had failed and they would need to order a new part. Two months later I retrieved my still broken mower. WHAT I FOUND. The spring the cable was attached to had come off the pulley. SEVERAL bolts were loose and could be removed with fingers. The deck was not attached properly to the tractor. And the cable was routed improperly. A defective part was all a LIE, and I was able to resolve the issue myself without any help from diagrams or the internet, because it was all intuitive. Maybe 30 minutes of work. These people will lie to your face, and keep your mower for weeks without touching it. I will tell everyone I know not to use them. - Edited after the response I had used them previously, and even though they were still rude like previous reviewers have indicated, I sent my mower in for repair of the spindle. I have no idea why their computer isn't showing the recent transaction. If there's any question, ask yourself Why would he wait for 'over a year' to provide a poor review? - There's a long list of reviews that indicate THEY are deceptive.

Great small business and will have whatever you are looking for and at a reasonable price

Great shop. Needed Snapper lawn blade and they had it at a price better than ebay. I have personally been to this establishment several times getting blades and carb gasket. On a later visit I was in need of a pressure washer and Carpenters had a used one that needed minor work as it was told to me before buying. Got it home and couldn't get it to perform exactly like I needed. Took back to Carpenters and explained what was going on. Was offered several options and I choose to get money back which Carpenters did and I choose to buy a new washer from them in return. This is a great place and I feel the staff is honest and very helpful. They could have told me sold as is but instead without argument they took care of my situation. I highly recommend Carpenters for all your lawn mower and Stihl needs. I will go back and recommend them to othes. FYI they sell zero turns also. Spring 2022 Weed eater issue . Vibration in weed eater head Cost approximately $100.00 in repairs Replace outer shaft , inner drive shaft , clutch bell assembly and had already new bottom gear housing. Lasted one year and a few months . Drive inner shaft stripped out along with clutch bell . Should have lasted over a year since unit is 5 plus years old before needing any kind of repair . Not placing blame on Carpenters or on Stihl FS 91 straight weed eater . But how would you feel?

bought a new mower here they explained everything to us and made sure we knew how to operate a the machine this man was very thorough i will be back thanks so much guys. i love my new mower.
