On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina - Morse Rd

I ordered a chicken taco meal. It comes with two chicken tacos, rice, and refried beans. Most authentic Mexican restaurants that I have been in had light flaky rice and smooth refried beans. This place served dark rice and chunky beans. Although the chicken tacos were good, I did not like the taste of the rice or beans.

The sampler entree tasted great. Quesadillas were juicy and full of cheese. Flautas were crispy. Beef nachos tasted amazing with mashed black beans. But the free chips were not crispy and some were sort of raw. The service could be faster and the Wi-Fi was slow.

My wife and I have always liked this place but haven't been here for a while. The chips and salsa are very good. The entrees were solid also. Our servers were efficient and very nice but they were understaffed so service was a little slow. We've always liked the atmosphere. This is a good solid chain for Mexican food that we recommend.

This has GOT to be the best salsa I have ever tasted!!! I’ve traveled all over the US and this salsa is hands down something to bring you in the door! I got the honey chipotle shrimp tacos! Yum!! Definitely no let down here! If you’re hungry and close by you need to give this a try!!
