Owner is super friendly and passionate about good BBQ. Was at OSU hospital from out of town. Searched for local BBQ and this place had great reviews and they're not wrong! Seriously some of the best brisket I've ever had. Got the 4 meat sampler and all of the rubs are perfect. Loved the Texas original sauce!

These guys deserve all the business they can get. The brisket has a perfect crust. The pulled pork is juicy, flavorful and hits the spot. Their Texas Local bbq sauce is a perfect sauce that I can't really say anything more about it. The Mac and Cheese is seasoned, which is a pleasant surprise. I'm still making my way through the meal, but damn, let these guys make as much money as they can. I will order from them again.

I stumbled on this food truck on the food truck finder website. The food is absolutely delicious. The owner is so nice and personable and gave samples of his brisket, sausage and to “die for” fall-of-the bone ribs”. I got the 2 meat platter with brisket/sausage and potato salad and beans. LOVED every delicious bite. I will be coming back for more. The fact that the owner is so nice and loves what he does makes me want to continue to support him and tell everyone I know about this gem!

This IS the BEST bbq in Columbus! The food was amazing to say the least! My boyfriend and I got to meet the amazing owner of this truck and he is one of the nicest people I ever met. He was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. We got the brisket and the Texas beef rib and I wish I could eat this everyday! The meat was so smoky and tender and doesn’t even need a sauce but if you do, the sweet and the Carolina twist were winners in our book. Don’t even get me started on that macaroni and cheese!! You can always judge a bbq joint by its mac and this mac was next level. We will absolutely be back soon! Wish I could upload photos but we dug right in. Im texting my friends and family and this right now!

This is the absolute best bbq place in Columbus (we have tried a lot of places over the years). As a fair warning, you will wait for the food (both to order and once ordered to be prepared/packed) but it’s worth it! We tried just about everything we could as a family, just to see how the food would be. We ended up getting: Meat: - 1 lb of brisket - pulled pork sandwich - Texas sausage - rack of short ribs Sides: - mac and cheese -brisket baked beans - potato salad Dessert: - 7 up cake - Coca Cola cake All sauces are home made and excellent. The brisket is perfectly seasoned. He even had us try his newest fully ground brisket burger, which was incredible. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and yummy. It didn’t require any sauce, but I tried it with the local Texas which was light and just enough to season without overwhelming the meat. The ribs fell off the bone. It was so good another family member who hadn’t planned on eating came in to grab one, then a few more! The sausage was well seasoned and tasty. The Mac and cheese had yummy spices as well as the potato salad. I absolutely loved the brisket baked beans which have multiple types of beans, bits of brisket that can be tasted and are not overwhelmingly saucy. And I cannot recommend enough picking up the cakes. You won’t regret it. The cocoa cola cake was just chocolatey enough without too much richness. The 7 up was my husband’s favorite as he liked the fruity flavor.

We are BBQ snobs!! We’ve tried bbq all over and this is absolutely phenomenal. The family that runs it are so nice and feed you while you wait. They gave us the best slice of brisket we’ve ever tried that absolutely melted in our mouths. This is 100000% our new favorite place to eat.

I can't say enough positive things about the food we had at the Texas Steele BBQ food truck. The brisket was juicy and tender, perfectly fatty and full of flavor. The crust was an explosion of flavor. The rib meat fell right off the bone and had absolutely the best flavor I've ever found in a rib. The baked beans and mac and cheese were both fantastic. We were disappointed that they were out of some items but we weren't surprised because they were extremely busy. The worker was on his own tonight and he had a never ending line, but he still remained cheerful and proud of the product he was serving. I immediately followed these guys on Street Food Finder and I can't wait to find them again!

These were some of the best pork ribs I've ever had!!! The way the meat just fell off the bone was beautiful. This man has a passion for barbeque and it shows in his food. He is so kind and hard-working. I really enjoyed dining at Texas Steel. I highly recommend it. I would have submitted a picture of my meal too but I took one bite and forgot all about my phone lol.
