Absolutely trash of a daycare. Some teachers were good teachers, but most of the staff was clueless. The guy they use to have in the AM was more worried about flirting than he was on checking in students. My sons second week there was taken to the wrong school and left alone in a school were he didn’t know anyone. I received a call from the police that my son was dropped off and was alone. The driver of the bus called me right after letting me know he noticed his mistake and was on his way back, he kept in touch and told me my son was good and he was there with him. Well NO! I received another call from police stating they had contacted my husband and he was on his way to pick up my son because not only was the driver not there yet but they weren’t going to allow the daycare to take him after what happen which is obvious. After my husband picked my son up the director tried apologizing to my husband but of course my husband to too furious to listen to him. Then they processed to call me multiple times to apologize and when I asked how this could have happened all I got was they confused him with another child. 🤦🏻u200d♀️🤦🏻u200d♀️ my son was a pre k student at the time going to school from 12-3. My son was dropped off at a school at 8am. Thank god my son can communicate and was able to get to a right adult. They raised their prices a ridiculous amount and the staff got so rude.

Don’t sleep on small schools. I wish I knew about this place when I first moved here. However here we are. I really like the staff here. My baby is learning so much here. It takes a village to raise a child. She used to go to a bigger daycare and though there were many teachers in the room, she didn’t get the attention she needed. Here they’re attentive and caring. Shout out Ms. Barbara. She’s turning my restrictive eater back to her normal self. Also the director Nichole. Blessings on blessings. It’s nice to be greeted by you daily. I’ll never forget this place. It takes a village to raise a child and i finally found my village.

I love Source Academy! I'm a first time mom and was worried about putting my 6 month old son in daycare. From the first day I felt comfortable leaving my child in their care. All the teachers are very nice and they keep the school clean. I would recommend this location.

Here is my issue with the daycare I have been asking for a full account of my billing in person as well as via email a no one has answered me. I was trying to prove myself wrong by hoping my trust in them was not misguided. When you have help from urban league you may have to pay the outstanding balance that may not be covered so when our out standing balance fluctuated we paid it without questioning it because we trusted them. I paid them always on time with no questions asked. All I’m trying to do is put all this to rest and move on. If they owe me for overpaying then I should be refunded. As far daycare I really can’t say anything bad we never had any issues with the care only with billing.

I’ve taken a long time to write a legitimate review about Source. They’ve been helpful in some very personal areas of my life and my daughter but have failed in so Monday others. Issues are never taken seriously. I’ve been asking them to fix the front door so that it shuts by itself on its EVERY TIME for the safety of the children. Jerrick the director does not take this seriously. It’s been over a year since I’ve asked. They raised tuition tremendously and have nothing to show to warrant the cost. The promised Procare app has never been functional and they continue to say “soon”. We have no idea how our or what our daughter is doing. Naps? Foods? Activities? Having an app that needs to updated not only provides parents with a piece of mind but is holds teachers accountable. Speaking of teachers, the turnover is embarrassing and they keep losing their good teachers. The front desk woman in the early mornings, has been either absent or sitting in her car talking on the phone. I arrived at the school at 3:30 or so today and there wasn’t a director to be found in the school. Sat at the front desk waiting for someone to attend to me to pay tuition and not a soul asked if i needed assistance. They drive, Teslas, BMWs and other nice cars but can’t fix a door. Jerrick told me today that I basically better respect him by saying “you’re talking to Jerrick, whatever his last name is” like I should bow done and show him respect based on name alone. Any concern I’ve ever had has never been taken seriously or held to a standard of the child’s best interest. It’s always defending, deflecting and redirecting the conversation. This about the children not Jerrick.

I do appreciate all that Source has done for me as an employee working there. Being able to learn so much from the different teachers in the classrooms as well as those in charge of management. Nichole and Ashley was extremely helpful with coaching within the classroom as a Pre-K teacher as well as becoming part of management team too with any concerns or question. Kecia and Lanka were extremely helpful too in regards to training staff members to understand all of the protocols that align with Source Academy’s philosophy as a whole. Witnessing how excited parents would be dropping off and picking up their children always brought a genuine smile to my face knowing how the facility operated. I will surely miss working alongside everyone, and I recommend anyone to apply here to work here as well as parents to sign up their children as they’ll learn much more than simple academic abilities.

I have a baby that attends source Academy on N. 28th St. they were the only take care of that except in my baby and have been very hopeful with her disability she has. she learn to walk there and they thought she would never walk due to her spinal bifida and tether cord syndrome

Absolutely love this school. I was very skeptical about bringing my daughter here because the world won’t love your kid as much as you do, but the staff here loves her just as much. She gets SO excited to come here. Although, at first she wasn’t as social and I was worried, but I am so glad she is sprouting and making friends. Truly blessed to have found this school and they accept urban league! Absolutely love it!
