11-24-2023 12:35Centrally located, this hotel is a short drive to much of the charm in Buckhead. I expected a hotel room in a building. What we got was a spread out condo like situation. There was a lot of walking required to get to the room and its nowhere near the lobby. It's nice that there is a complimentary breakfast. What's not so nice is the staff ate it all leaving very little for guests. And no, we were not late for breakfast.

11-12-2023 00:13I like that this was an affordable stay but unfortunately my stay was not pleasant. There was a homeless person camped outside my room and as a woman staying by herself on the bottom floor I was nervous. Also my room smelled like mildew and dog poop. I checked in at midnight and left at 7 am so it wasn't worth trying to change rooms. I also wasn't confident any other room would be much better considering someone had to of cleaned that room and didn't do anything about the smell.

07-10-2023 08:03The breakfast experience at the Residence Inn by Marriott was a letdown. The breakfast attendant's attitude was unwelcoming, and their comment about my waffle-making choice was unnecessary. Despite being a loyal Titanium member, the service was far from exceptional. Later, when I tried to purchase two waters and asked to charge it to my room, the front desk requested an ID, which struck me as unusual given my frequent travels with Marriott. I offered alternative verification methods, including providing personal details and showing both room keys, but it was futile. This unexpected and inconvenient encounter has left a lasting impression, making it unlikely for me to choose this location again.

06-29-2023 04:21The hotel and staff were wonderful the entire time. Mr. Andre, during check-in on my first day was friendly and accommodating and shared some ideas for dinner at local restaurants. I inadvertently choose a room in the front near the pool without consideration for road noise from the street in front of the property. When I asked to switch the next morning, Ms. Tara was wonderful and made it happen quickly so everything was ready by the time I returned in the evening. The hostess in charge of the breakfast during my stay (I wish I would have asked her name) was excellent, she prepared delicious and abundant breakfasts despite how busy they were and nothing was ever out of stock. My room was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the room located near the wooded area at the back of the property. I can say without reservation that my stay at the Residence Inn Atlanta Buckhead was my best experience at a Residence Inn throughout my years staying in Marriott properties. I will hold the property as my gold standard going forward, although I am concerned that others may not meet my newly raised expectations.

06-14-2023 21:36This particular Residence Inn location is definitely a bit dated, but the hotel room interiors are just fine! The finishes are up to date and our room was clean. The location is also in a busy area of Buckhead that leaves a lot to be desired. If you just need a clean place to rest your head for the night, this property will do just fine.

05-28-2023 17:36Hotel was very nice overall. Room was clean, well stocked, comfortable bed, quiet for the most part. However, this was the absolute worst internet I've ever experienced at a hotel. Could hardly connect when needed and when you could connect it would just drop the connection over and over, this also impacted the ability to use the streaming services on the TV. Be prepared to use a hotspot if you stay.
