Comfort Inn & Suites Atlanta/Smyrna

My stay here was great thanks to Courtney. From the time I checked in and throughout my stay she did whatever she could to make my stay pleasant. From making fresh coffee for me when returning from work each night to quickly replacing my broken desk chair when I brought it to her attention. She is very professional and welcoming. I will definitely stay again.

This hotel is basically just a dump. All the furniture is old, worn, and stained. The rooms are run down and not even approaching clean. Filthy carpet, dingy linens, stained blankets that did not seem to fit the beds ... I struggle to find any redeeming qualities. I guess it is within walking distance of the Braves ballpark. That's all I've got. Almost forgot ... I reserved two rooms. Both had large puddles of standing water on the carpet around the air conditioner. Bad enough to soak through two towels and one pair of socks. Who knows what kind of mold and mildew is growing in and under that carpet ... when I brought it up with the front desk, their response was sorry, but we're completely booked. My daughter wanted to sleep in our truck in the parking lot rather than in her room. Needless to say, we won't be staying here again.

This Confort Inn was Clean, very quite, the guests on my floor were respectful. Room came with a pretty big TV. The shower was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and clean. I didn't see one bug. Room rate was reasonable for a Monday anyway. The staff seemed to have a bit of a attitude but remained respectful and professional. Watch out for the hidden 100.00 room essentials deposit. I was going to give this place 5 stars but they tried to keep my deposit... but all in all great place I would definitely recommend staying here. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. This is the best I can say about this hotel. I booked three rooms for a family event only to discover the preview pictures must have been taken at some other hotel. All the surfaces in our rooms, and in the lobby, looked like they had been wiped with a dirty rag. The rooms looked like a war had taken place in them; holes in walls and doors poorly repaired, lamp shades with holes, floors so dirty we hated to walk on them, door jams with chunks missing, bathroom fixtures that didn't work, and to top it off black mold. Because of the poor condition of the rooms we passed on their free breakfast. If the option was available I would give this hotel 1/4 of a star.

I’m not gonna tell you what to do, but here was my experience. We arrived at 2:30pm. The receptionist didn’t want to help us until 3pm. Which is fine…even though she was being lazy, it’s fine, I’ve been there so we didn’t push it. We waited. Very patiently in a lobby that had furniture so disgusting we couldn’t sit down in it was so filthy. The air vents had rust and dirt on them. Dust floated about. And when we asked the manager about bed bugs he went on a tangent and was EXTREMELY rude like he was not trying to answer the question. So I’m pretty sure had we stayed we would have brought something home with us. This was strike one. Then at 3pm, when the reservation was supposed to be ready, the staff proceeded to lie about how the room would be clean any minute. Then the person they say was cleaning it was in the laundry, not cleaning like they said. So that was strike two. Then when we tried checking in the staff caught an attitude. After simply asked a question about why we need to sign some document. My signature is valuable, at one point in history my ancestors weren’t able to read or write so I THOROUGHLY review and know what I’m signing every time. And that was strike three. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We didn’t even get to stay there and worst of it all we paid ahead of time so our money was non-refundable. Again, not telling you what to do, but I would never go here again. Between the rude manager, lazy staff, and the uncleanliness of the place, I predict in a few years, no, in a few months, this place with either have such terrible clientele they will shut down, or they will have no clientele and be forced to go out of business. But good luck with your hotel selection tho!

My family and I were in town for the Braves game with our daughter’s Girl Scouts troop. The location was perfect. The staff here has some of the best customer service you can find. When we got to our room we had dirty vents, spiderwebs (by the nightstand), a spider (by the nightstand) and a broken TV. They also need new furniture. Decent stay overall.

The service was good at check-in, breakfast, and check out. They seemed short-staffed, and everyone seemed to be working really hard. The hotel is poorly maintained (chipped paint, dirty pool, stained and cracked furniture)The room was okay, the AC worked, but made the carpet wet. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Hair dryer didn’t work. The free breakfast is average. There are hot and cold options. The location is about 5 miles from Truist Park, a $15-$30 Uber ride away, depending on time of day. I feel like we paid double the price just for the location. We were disappointed.
