Holiday Inn Fort Worth North-Fossil Creek, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is very nice. Bathroom and shower are great. Room service was great. Plenty of tv channels to surf. Overall the hotel is very nice and I had no complaints. The major issue was the amount of times the front desk asked if I stayed at the hotel. I counted 4 times where staff asked who I was or what room number I was staying inside. Maybe I don’t look like the regular clientele. After the first two times it just became annoying. I stayed in the same room for a total of 11 days. I don’t know if that’s the protocol, racism or what. 😂🤦🏾u200d♂️ Maybe they get a lot of homeless people coming in and thought I was a homeless guy staying for 11 days. The last day I took a picture of what I was wearing which is usually jeans and a collar shirt. Didn’t bother to ask why they kept asking me if I stay at the hotel. It’s an affordable hotel not the Ritz Carlton or anything lol

I travel for business and frequently stay at hotels I have pretty high expectations and do not really get impressed that easily I walked in with uncertainty because of the construction in the parking lot but the staff working at the front desk was beyond exceptional. Julius in his casual and courteous attitude made it a wonderful experience. Being away from home; homesick it helped felt welcomed. kodina went up and beyond to accommodate me and was very informative about all the amenities the hotel had to offer. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of everything as well. I inspected the room with my UV light and everything was exceptional. The stay was peaceful and very relaxing unlike Omni where you get lost in crowd this place fell a home away from home. Excellent.

Beautiful remodel going on. Room was nice, bathroom clean. The new carpet smell in the hallway was a bit overwhelming but that will dissipate. Could tell the room wasn't vacuumed because of the food under both beds and the tub, although the walls were new, the tub was not. Plugs, plugs and mire plugs for devices!!! Paid for breakfast with room but was told we didn't. Thankful the reservation in our email showed we did. Not your normal HI breakfast buffet, was made to order with great options and the server, she was awesome too! Overall good stay!

When I checked in, I waited 15 minutes in the lobby until another guest told me the worker, Julius, was in a chair in the lounge area sleeping with the Cowboys game on tv. I had to get the bartender to wake him up and when I told him I was waiting 15 minutes he said, “for real?” I told Julius, “do better and an apology would go a lot longer way than questioning me like I had a reason to lie.”When I checked out, he was working still. I didn’t say a word, I didn’t want to get into it. He said have a great day and I chuckled. He goes “you know I don’t care if you tell my manager” I said “I’m going to you shouldn’t be sleeping on the job” he goes, “I dont care, I’ve worked 3 doubles and you come off as racist.” I said “look at me dude (as I am a brown first generation American) my dad wasn’t even born in this country how dare you” and he pulled out his phone and like took a picture of me. I am absolutely disgusted that this guy refused to apologize and accused me of something so atrocious. Just wow. Shocking.

Every staff member I encountered was wonderful. Room size was nice. Location is a little sketchy for Fort Worth. Price was adequate considering location.
