I love everyone at this practice. From the front desk to the doctor they are Great. Kelly is the reason I started coming here and recommend her to anyone who wants to have a visit with confidence knowing you’re getting the best treatment possible.

I cannot stress how amazing this dental practice is. Kim at the front desk helped me get all my insurance details squared away before being seen. Elizabeth, the dental hygienist, and Dr. Rubinski were both extremely compassionate, nonjudgemental, and thorough. If you have dental anxiety or embarrassment, request this team!!

Recently moved to the Parrish area and my prior dentist knew Dr. Rubinski and referred my husband and me to her. Boy can we understand why! Dr. Rubinski is so personable; knowledgeable, has great staff from check in to check out! Most importantly, the dental hygienists Leslie (mine) and Jessica (my husband’s) were awesome. Reviewed our records that prior dentist sent over; Cleaned thoroughly; so pleasant and knowledgeable about dental practices. My husband actually said, “That was a great experience, and I didn’t expect it!” We scheduled our next two appointments (we go three times a year even though insurance only covers two). This will be well worth it. Thanks very much for being here!

This dentist office does not make any attempt at insurance pre-determination for the services they provide and the amount they quote is not the amount you are billed for. The dentist advised me that I needed a crown and his office staff told me that my portion would be $591.60, which was collected from me prior to scheduling the crown. A month after the service I was billed an additional $386.20. My insurance had denied the service stating that a crown wasn't warranted/enough tooth structure remained for a filling. I contacted the dentist office and they advised that they had not done a pre-determination or sought pre-approval prior to scheduling the crown or quoting me the patient portion. They also advised that they had not appealed the insurance denial even though the dentist felt I needed the crown. They just bill the patient for the balance. When I asked them to appeal the denial, the office person was not pleasant in her responses to me at all. I doubt the appeal was done based on how she treated me on the phone.

Leslie was fantastic! She had a gentle touch and was very thorough during my cleaning. Can’t speak highly enough of her and everyone that works at Lakewood Ranch Family u0026 Cosmetic Dentistry. Put your nervousness aside and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Staff are so friendly especially since I had to leave 10 minutes before my apt ended due to another appointment somewhere right after. They were thorough and did not have a problem with me having to get out early :)
