Hyatt Place Sarasota / Lakewood Ranch

My stay at the Hyatt Place Sarasota was truly outstanding! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome and valued. The hotel's modern and stylish decor created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of this hotel is its fantastic location. It's just a short 20-minute drive to the beach, which was incredibly convenient. Additionally, the hotel is easy to find, right off the highway exit, making it a breeze to get to. The staff continued to impress me with their exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable visit, always available to answer my questions and provide recommendations for things to do in the area. I highly recommend the Hyatt Place Sarasota to anyone visiting the area. It's a top-notch establishment with outstanding amenities, a convenient location, and a staff dedicated to making your stay extraordinary. I can't wait to return for another visit

Great service! Love the location! Walking distance to coffee shops, excellent restaurants, local and chain, sidewalks for walking, close to the interstate. Publix within walking distance. Great amenities! I did not make it to the fitness room nor did I get to swim, but I did enjoy sitting by the pool, and the water was heated. The free breakfast bar was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel! I am vegan, so they were many options for me, including oatmeal with lots of toppings, fresh berries, fruit, and melons! Definitely a lot more options for non-vegans , then your typical waffles and frozen biscuits and sausage. We did partake in the bar, which was a great way to chill by the pool in the evening. I felt extremely safe my entire time there. Great walk-in shower! Comfortable rooms. Comfortable mattress. Refrigerator in the room but no microwave. No big deal, because I did not need it. Cable, not smart tv, so couldn't watch Netflix or Amazon prime, but that was okay. Great free coffee at the breakfast bar in the morning, and I loved having actual real ceramic coffee cups with my coffee machine in the room. Nice comfy couch in the room to lounge on and relax at night. Great desk area. Plenty of parking without having to walk. Just a few tiny things that would have been nice to have: more USB Outlets, and because I'm vegan I would have liked to have had foam pillows, and I know it's asking a lot, but a non-down comforter. I asked for foam pillows, and there were none available. Not a great view, because it's right beside the interstate, but the convenience to everything was worth it. I will stay here next time I am in Sarasota on business!

Online checkin, electronic key, text for service - great experience! The only issue was the breakfast. There was a lot of stuff, but it seems to all be cooked at 6 am and kept sitting in the back. Toast and bagels with fruit were all we could eat. Eggs, sausage, waffles, hash browns, biscuits, gravy - all were old, and had been kept. Would be fantastic if they cooked in cycles so food was fresh and edible! Didn't ding them, though. Hotel is great!

Beautifully appointed rooms. Manager opened breakfast early to accommodate athletes with early race times. Excellent free breakfast - SO many options, hot and cold.

I stayed at Hyatt for a business trip. It is a good hotel with comfortable rooms , parking lot and a swimming pool. I liked the following amenities and services : Good service attitude, when I checked in my bathroom was not properly cleaned however Chris at reception readily offered me a another room. Service attitude of whole staff in general was good. Swimming pool was opened till late. Big parking lot is available Rooms size is quite big and comfortable Beds are comfortable There is a coffee machine and iron in the room There is a fridge available There are working desk in the room as well as in the lobby Dispensers at every floor for ice cubes Liked the possibility to take away coffee from breakfast Things that I didn’t like much When I checked in bathroom was not clean. Breakfast can be improved, not much variety and boiled eggs are very cold. For the price I paid I would expect little better quality There was no drink in the mini bar not even water in the room. Internet was sometimes slow Overall a good hotel but few things can be improved.

I posted 2 stars because of the lack of security. The door used to go in u0026 out of the hotel was not working. To use this back door one must have a key card to enter. The door was broken and anyone could enter the hotel where the rooms are. I spoke with the front desk and no one ever came to fix the door. I sent the General Manager Michelle an email and did not hear back from them.

Cleanest hotel we've stayed at! Our room was quiet, clean u0026 high end, not to mention an awesome bed u0026 pillows! The breakfast is always very good u0026 the Cafe is also great! This hotel is our favorite place to stay!
