Kang's Korean Restaurant

Really tasty korean food. In my opinion, this place would be the one of the few that cooked ‘real’ korean foods in Michigan. Only one thing I didn’t like was that the soup was a little salty. But except that, it was really great. I would better come with more friends.

This small place on South U is bustling!! So many people going in and out and so so busy. Service was a bit slow because of that but the food was absolutely delicious 😋. The kimchi fried rice was spectacular!! Also, prices are very cheap for Ann Arbor standards. Will be back soon!!

Tried twice, food tastes fine but service really bad. First time came in at lunch time when not crowded, boss smoke his e-cig at counter. Second time is a few days ago when it was really heavy snow outside and all tables were full. Ridiculously the boss didn't allow you stay in restaurant to wait, but asked to stay in snow and get back 30mins later.

Ox tail soup is great! And it’s cost-effective. If you want Korean food, you should try this restaurant.

Very delicious food. Only *ONE* issue there was like barley any seafood in any of the dishes.... it's like when the price of seafood doubled they took out more than half of the seafood in the dishes... this makes me very sad. Great customer service though. For example my soup dish only had 2 or 3 pieces of squid in it.. tons of tofu. You can get the idea from what I am saying.

It is you went to a Korean family restaurant. The sticker is really good. And the soup is wonderful. Seafood pancake is another recommended. They are so crispy and I love green onion.

Kangs is an awesome little hole in the wall Korean restaurant with excellent Korean food. I got my usual, which I always order at Korean restaurants, Yook Gae Jang. It was delicious. My wife ordered her usual, Bi Bim Bop, it was terrific as well. Some of the best Asian food I have had come from these small, family run, hole in the wall restaurants. Try it, you'll love it.
