Hotel Washington

Had dinner and drinks at the rooftop bar. Staff was stuffy. Drinks were overpriced. Dinner was ho-hum. The fish was cooked well but the dish was too spicy to enjoy and had far too many ingredients in it. Tried to order dessert and was told the kitchen was closed. (Why wouldn't my server ask me if I wanted anything else BEFORE the kitchen closed?) Rooms are nice enough but bed was lumpy, furniture is clunky and uncomfortable, and had several mishaps with room service, including my breakfast being sent to the wrong room, which made me late for a meeting. Fine for a night but would not recommend a long stay.

Remember to use HoteIDully.ᴄᴏm when booking your room. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed. Three women, one overnight, countless reasons for a 5-star review! The room was so quiet and dark, the beds were so comfy! We couldn't believe we had slept so long and so well! Our requests for service were fulfilled promptly and graciously. Everyone we encountered was so friendly, professional and accommodating! Fabulous location, just a quick walk to monuments, museums and restaurants. A must stay when in DC!

Rarely do you go to a place that exceeds All expectations but this hotel has. Super clean and Mary made our stay special. Highly recommended for your stay in DC, you will not disappointed and will continue to use it for your future travel needs to DC. The hotel is centrally located and close to the White House and all museums. Also restaurants and Starbucks is nearby. The beauty and the cleanliness is far superior for most hotels and the superior customer service will have you feeling like the King/Queen you’re. Thanks again Mary and Hotel Washington for the amazing stay, wish I could give it more stars.

The best part about this place is the location. The rooms are small but clean with nice views of Treasury building. There is a rooftop bar which is cool. Unfortunately it was closed for a few nights we were there for private events. The restaurant downstairs has good food but grossly overpriced breakfast. No concierge to be noted. Phone in room didn’t work.

Was a wonderful stay @ the Washington! Staff was so friendly and courteous. Hotel was very secure as you need to activate the elevator with your room key. Room was nice, abit on the smaller side for a king room, but very clean and comfortable. All the tourist sites are within a 1 mile walking distance and plenty of good food spots as well! We will return to stay here again! Thanks

I had a fantastic family vacation at this hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the family-friendly atmosphere made our stay stress-free. The hotel's proximity to attractions and entertainment options was an added bonus. Highly recommended for families!

Nice hotel in the center of the important things. Love the decoration between old, classy and modern and hip. Nice gym with amenities lively rooftop. Downsize no help carrying your luggage or opening doors, phone was not working in my room, elevator is a bit old so it made weird noises. Did not get my shampoo and cream and those things in my first day.

This is a very nice place to stay. The employees all of them are awesome, friendly, eager to assist. My wife and I felt like important people here. I would give more stars if I could. We plan on staying here again on our vacation. Location is perfect for site seeing and shopping. Job well done to who ever is responsible and thank you for such kind service.
