Angelika Film Center & Café - Carmel Mountain

This place is a gem! Great atmosphere and great movie showings. We went for Elemental but now I am excited to go back for the Hitchcock movies they will be showing as well as some other oldies but goodies (like Close Encounters of the Third Kind and The Big Lebowski). Great place to really enjoy cinema. There are also a lot of eating options nearby if you doing dinner and a movie. Highly highly recommend 👌

Absolutely perfect movie experience always! Seats recline and and are so comfortable! Easy to get in and out as well! We saw Black Panther Wakanda Forever! It was so awesome! The movie was over 2 hours but we were so comfy the entire time! We always chose Angelika for our movie Date Night!

A definite experience. Decently priced tickets, half priced on Tuesdays for members. Membership sign up is free. Consessions are really nice. Full menu offering pizza, burgers, hot dogs, flavored fries and drinks. Also, offer an excellent bar selection. Theater seats are really comfy leather reclining with a swing arm table.

I wished I lived closer to this place! Friendly, easy service at the front. We got tickets online and walked right in. There is outside seating in front of the theater and plenty of parking in the lot. You order food at the front and can bring it into the theater with you or eat it in the balcony lounge upstairs. Classic movies Line the walls all around this location and the lighting is awesome. The French fries were really good and their ranch and chipotle dip are out of sight!

The fancy seating is showing it’s age… armrests are nearly devoid of vinyl. On the plus side, it’s still a great location, showing current movies at the “normal” (still too high in my opinion) price.

Let me first mention the SEATS. Big, comfortable, and reclining! And your own little table. Wow! The movie selection is awesome, too. The place is clean, and it all runs like clock work. My lovely bride and my self will be back soon.

Nice theater where you can choose your seats. The seats are very comfortable, with built in automatic reclining. They do serve food and alcohol in lobby. There is outside seating with a fire pit. Staff seem to be hit or miss, some were very helpful others not so much. Overall a great experience.

Awesome theater. Comfortable seating. Few dollars more than an AMC or Regal, but the seats/atmosphere are just worth it. Definitely a good spot to come if you plan to come see a movie on opening day or really any crowded day. Lots of food options…..they even have……COFFEE!!!! Just a superb atmosphere to see a movie in. Definitely coming back!!!
