11-12-2023 23:52Shane was great. Only repair man that came out right away, and I can’t even express how great full I was. He was so nice he actually got the price lower by reusing some parts. First AC guy I ever met that got the price lower and got it done fast. I highly recommend ac service masters!

11-11-2023 09:57I have a one year update on my new home 2 stage heat pump system. They did a really good job on the system as a whole and I want to emphasize that. Rooms all stay at the correct temperature while the air is running and it does a good job cooling plus filtering with the 5 thick filter. However, I will explain some issues I have discovered along the way. Probably October through March as the days are cooler, the A/C didn't need to cycle on much. Upon some investigating I found they accidentally left it in dehumidification mode permanently which runs 60% fan. I'm glad the compressor didn't fail. I did correct that problem. I also needed to run a portable dehumidifier for those months because the system was not running enough to pull down the humidity. I look for under 55%. I also found over two summers now that the system is about 30% oversized. Days when we reach 91 degrees up to 96 degrees outside even, stage 1 is all we ever need on our 2 stage compressor. I can look at run time history and the only time stage 1 remains on is if we are cooking, running exhaust, doing laundry, etc. all at the same time while it's blazing outside. I have stage 2 to kick in at 1 degree above set point also. So, 70% of 4 tons is all our house needs at 73 degrees. Unless we are really heating the place up, it will cycle probably 3 times per hour on stage 1 whilst it is at or over design temperature. The only time stage 2 is used is for a really fast cool down if we've been gone and turned the temperature up. I have worked to have this situation resolved by installing a whole house ventilating dehumidifier to keep the humidity around 50% while the air conditioner is not on. The system now works quite well once I had that done. It would probably work better if the system wasn't so large. I also found that the vent boxes weren't sealed to the drywall so I caulked them to seal it up. Once again, very clean install of a standard A/C system, but not without a few issues. I did speak to the company at length prior to the installation as well about the humidity issues I anticipated.

09-21-2023 20:05We purchased our home in Palm BAY 5 Years ago and decided to use the company that installed the AC, to do the annual maintenance. We been using them ever since Shane is trust worthy, Ethical and has integrity. The builder grade unit did not do well after 5 years and AC just installed a Lennox at a great price and class act work. Highly recommend

09-21-2023 06:34I contacted A/C Service Masters on a sweltering Sunday in July and left a message that our AC went out. I got a call back within two minutes (not an exaggeration). The service technician responded quickly, and he diagnosed the problem right away, and our AC was back online immediately. The technician then stayed a little longer (on a Sunday no less) and provided some good advice on AC maintenance and such. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly kind and professional, and their response was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the company and our experience with them. Five stars for sure.

07-09-2023 06:47my AC unit iced over, I called up AC service masters and John was responsive and nice to talk to on the phone. I let him know my situation, he was able to get Shane out to my place within 2 hours (I specified that I was pretty flexible, and Shane was finishing up some work in the area). Shane was able to talk through what he was doing, and asked before doing anything that would be a charge. Shane was able to diagnosed the issue to a leak in my dryer, get it replaced, re-charge the system, and we're blowing cold air again! Definitely got an honest, down to earth, vibe from my experience with AC Service Masters. 10/10 recommend.
