Whitney Services was great! Were here 2 times, thought they had corrected a/c issue. 2nd time realized I needed an entire new a/c and furnace. 3rd trip installed all brand new equipment in a matter of hours! All the guys were professional, personable, efficient! Highly recommend this company!

My experience dealing with Whitney has been really frustrating. I was referred to them through my American Home Shield home warranty, but I'm definitely going to request a different company in the future. I've had to use their services twice for plumbing problems, and it took several scheduled visits to fix the issues. The problem is their communication – it's not great even within their own company. The technicians, schedulers, and phone operators don't seem to be on the same page when it comes to understanding the progress of the job and what needs to happen next to complete the repairs. One big issue is their consistent failure to respond to service updates. This means you have to keep following up and spending a lot of time on the phone, waiting for a solution.

Josh safely removed an old light fixture and installed a new fixture. It took longer than expected but he came back and finished it up and it looks great. We will only use Whitney electric in the future.

“NOT RECOMMENDED” We were referred to Whitney Plumbing and Electric through our Home Warranty Service. I had a leaky faucet which was a Delta . They sent Carmelo to us 5 times over a 2 and a half months time. First time sprayer didn’t work. We payed out over 160 then on the 4th visit they wanted us to pay for another faucet. Warranty company paid for the faucet . Another no name brand !! After he left the 5th time . Here we go again as a leak sprung at top because nuts were not tightened correctly. Didn’t want to deal with them anymore because is was just a big pain and headache. Would never use them again and what Plummer goes to homes in gym shorts ? Ridiculously ridiculous for real. They could have easily fixed leak on the original Delta faucet. Plus they took the Delta faucet and they took the 2nd faucet they replaced. “”NOT RECOMMENDED UNLESS YOU WANT POOR SERVICE”so I had a plumber come out and resolved the issue.

Could not recommend less. As with many others, was connected through home warranty for a replacement water heater. They said the replacement was covered but they told the warranty company it would cost an additional $840 to for misc. items like the gas line, water line, and flue that would need to be added. These already existed were in perfect condition! I talked to the warranty company and they said this is what the contractor would need to charge based on their review. Called Whitney and they said this is what the warranty company said would need to charged. Sounds like one giant money grab scam. I confirmed with video technician that the only other cost would be a drip pan but of course can no longer get any form of communication back from the technician...

Avoid this company at all costs. They were assigned to a work order I placed through American Home Shield to replace pumps on a radiant heating system in my home. Several technicians came to my home over several months and each left my home worse off. In that time they destroyed 2 replacement pumps, burned a hole in my carpet, damaged water pipes creating a leak, rescheduled and missed several service calls, and in the end failed to make the repairs. I only stayed with them because AHS would not cover another contractor under my plan (don't use them either). I finally had enough and had a new contractor come to assess the issue. The system was fixed that same week (1 diagnostic trip, then fixed the next visit). Because of Whitney I had to go the full winter without heat in our main bathroom. They frequently were no-call no-show for scheduled appointments. Customer service was often not available and would not return messages. They have an almost blatant disregard for customer concerns. I called, emailed and texted several times about the damage to my carpet. Its as if they don't care. Zero response. 7 months later after emailing the company about my damaged carpet, I received a call from them. Their explanation for not reimbursing me for the damage they created - The warranty company denied part of their claim for repairs because they went over the allotted coverage - Because their technicians kept destroying the replacement parts! Their excuse for not taking care of the problem they caused me, is that they had to pay for problems they caused themselves. If you have a home warranty company that uses Whitney, demand that they are not used for any of your service calls or, don't use American Home Shield and find a better provider.

Ejector pump issue was diagnosed properly the first time and was taken care of by replacement with a new one. Everything was done when promised and works well. I was particularly impressed with the technician that replaced our pump. He was courteous, answered all my questions and cleaned up their mess nicely. He also made sure I was completely satisfied with his work before he left. Very impressive.

Mike was on time, very thorough, professional, courteous, and honest. He conducted a thorough assessment of my electrical problem, explained what he found in terms I could easily understand, and then promptly resolved the issue. Hands down one of the best service calls I have had in a long time. Mike should be commended for his commitment to excellence in service. Thank you.
