Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel

The room was nice and the location was conveniently near the strip, but the front desk woman wasn't very competent. We got to the hotel around 4 pm and our room wasn't ready, but she said she'd call us when it was. We wait for around half an hour in the lobby and see other people checking in and getting their rooms, so we went up to her and she acted like it was a surprise that our room was ready before handing us our keys. We did not appreciate that she forgot to call us. She also didn't hand us the cards for complimentary cookies/beer until after she handed us our room keys; if the hotel's policy was to give it to us while we were waiting, I probably wouldn't be complaining right now. Regarding the room, there also wasn't a bathroom fan, which is just a bad design.

Broken / turned off car chargers. Incredibly disappointing. We paid for parking and chose to stay here because charging was supposed to be available. There are probably 10 charging spots and every one was broken. The hotel doesn't maintain the charges apparently. Just to really drive how inconvenient this is, the room and parking cost $200. I need to have full charge to drive home. Because I got zero charge at the place I paid to get charged and sleep at, now - the next day, I'm sitting in a parking lot with public chargers and have been waiting for over an hour to get access/get through the line of others waiting and I have to pee. So because the hotel and parking garage I gave money to to use their chargers was unavailable, the day of my trip back home has had at minimum an additional two hours tacked on to it and a lot of physical discomfort added to it. Thanks Renaissance.

The hotel is nice! The pool area is a bit secluded and in between the buildings in the courtyard, so not a ton of sunlight for very long. The location is pretty convenient. About a 30 min walk from the strip though. All in all, the restaurants were good, service was great and the rooms were nice.

So I’ll be open… I did not stay at the Renaissance Hotel HOWEVER. If the rooms are half as nice as the bathrooms and staff are I will definitely book there. I am in town for SEMA. I had to use a restroom and I went in there. I found someone to point me in the direction of them. He made sure I knew where I was going, not caring if I was a hotel guest or not. On to the bathrooms. They were clean… very clean. Nothing nasty, gross, or unappealing. To the manager person I charge of keeping the restrooms tidy and clean…. You or the people you appoint need a raise. They are doing work and taking pride in it. Great job and keep up the good work!

First, the “Details” section is incorrect - they do NOT offer free parking - it’s $17 per day! (And the person that booked the room is a platinum member - still charged $17/day to park.) There is also no iPod dock as stated in the Details. Very disappointing. Specific irks about our room in particular: There’s no microwave in the room, the mini fridge is missing a bar to hold items in the door, the bathroom door gets stuck every time you open it, and every time the shower is used it creates a massive puddle across the entire bathroom floor. Oh, and the conditioner in the shower was left totally empty, so I had to hobble across the pond on the floor to get to the conditioner bottle attached to the bathtub (standup shower and tub are on opposite sides of the bathroom u0026 the shampoou0026conditioner bottles are bolted to the wall like at a cheap gym .) I thought this hotel was going to be up to par with other Marriotts. I thought wrong :/ (Will upload photos of the room and photos of the broken mini fridge and the post-shower bathroom floor pond tomorrow.) Also, if you want to gamble at night you’ll have to take an Uber - it’s too far to walk to the strip, especially in the dark, and the “casino” two doors down is super dated and nothing like the Las Vegas experience we expected. In a nutshell, somehow they managed to make Reno look fancy u003e.u003c

Stayed here early October of 2023 and absolutely loved it. First time in Vegas and wanted to stay off Strip. Quiet atmosphere, loved the pool area and chill music; really nice rooms and outstanding service. Will definitely return.

Very disappointed with my stay at this property. I just renewed my titanium status which they didn’t recognize upon check in and check in took 25 minutes. Lounge was a complete disappointment as well. No drinks stocked at all. This property is needing a big change from management to make things better.

Really nice place to stay. Super conveniently located just off the strip. Beautiful view of the Wynn Golf Course and the new MSG Sphere. Room was nice and clean, nice bathrooms with a tub. Cleaning service was on point. Highly recommend for convention goers and anyone who wants to be walking distance to strip but just outside of it.
