11-04-2023 11:52My benchmark breakfast. Simply the best corned beef hash I’ve had and I’ve had lots. All the food we ordered was great too, everyone really happy with their choices. Service is some of the best we’ve had on our USA trip too 👍 We stayed in Visalia (really like the town too) for two nights to visit the Sequoia NP, found Mama K’s on a recommendation at the hotel. Went back for the second morning’s breakfast 🍳👍👍 😋

07-10-2023 07:47This place is only if you have much extra time to waste on the waiting list . Service is not good except for the girl who is picking up , but the one who sits and get names has an attitude problem. Food is good, but not to waste 1-1/2 hrs of waiting. 2 previous times I came here is exactly the same thing.

06-14-2023 01:16As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of breakfast, I can’t recommend this amazing restaurant enough! When the locals are lining up at the door, you know you’ve found a gem of a place. From the second we walked in we were greeted by Tom and told a table was being cleaned right away for us. Before we could settle in to wait, it was ready and from that moment on we were treated to a delightful experience. Come to find out, Tom, who seated us and brought our drinks, is Mama Kay’s dad. You could sense a fast paced, happy urgency in every person working there, ensuring the customers’ needs were met immediately. The menu was extensive and we finally settled on chicken fried steak, eggs, cheesy hash brown casserole, toast, pancakes, and bacon. Being from Texas, we know good chicken fried steak. We expected a decent cut but wow, were we shocked! Best we’ve ever had! They even understood our bacon preference! A couple times I needed more syrup or jelly and Mason was right on it in record time, with such a beautiful smile and happy heart. Do yourself a favor and come to this fun family restaurant. If I lived here I’d be here every week!

04-18-2023 19:46Came here on a Friday morning. Wasn't too busy, but got busier when I was leaving. It's kind of hard to find on Ben Maddox, so once you pass Goshen going north on Ben Maddox the entrance is right after the factory on the left corner. When you drive in go to the end. It's in the red barn. We seated ourselves since it wasn't too busy. The menu is extensive, so there's a lot to choose from. The majority of the items are the same thing you find in most breakfast spots in town. I did find one different item, which I ordered, the Papa Dan's plate. Eggs with ground beef, spinach, mushrooms, herbs and parmesan cheese. As a side I got their cheesy hash brown casserole and biscuits and gravy. I really liked the combination used on the eggs, and they weren't shy on portions. The cheesy hash brown was decent, but adding some pepper will living it up more. The biscuits and gravy were decent. Overall, I enjoyed the plate that I got. The portions were good and the price made sense considering the amount you got. The service was great and promp. A highlight was their strawberry jam they sell to go. So delicious! Highly recommended.

04-14-2023 22:45I usually go on weekends between 10:12am. It's very busy during that time. Wait is usually 30min to an hour. For me it's worth the wait. Food is good home cooking to say the least and service is friendly. The eating area is small and somewhat crowded but on the brightside it did appear there was evidence of remodeling going on last time I was there. It's popular with the home town crowd very laid-back. For those from out of town it is close to old livestock auction area. No biggie part of atmosphere!

03-08-2023 04:24Food was decent as always but it was weird they took our name to call when a table was ready and the guy came outside read two names and said he was tired of reading from the list so he started asking people who just sat down if they wanted to go in so like 4 families got in that arrived later than us before we got to which isn’t a crazy big deal was just kind of weird. Staff was nice but they seem
