I visited this business yesterday with my 6 year old with the intentions of supporting a new small business and also finally allowing my daughter to get her first professional wash. Although the hairstyling outcomes that I observed while waiting were not what I expected. I still decided to support this new business. (there are literally 3 salons that provide the same services within 100 feet) The stylist was very patient with my daughter and the products don’t seem to be watered down yet (As expected being that this is a new business) Although I have a dedicated stylist, at my daughters request I decided to get a wash with scalp treatment as well which was listed as an additional 10$. At the end of the service I was hit with a bill of $130.66!!! I still can’t believe I was charged this much for a deep conditioning wash and set in the SOUTH BRONX!! I was charged 15$ for the use of a flat iron, 5$ to sit under the “machine” basically 50$ for the deep conditioning... basically just an all around MESS. I WILL NOT be returning to this salon and I know for a fact they will not last in this neighborhood. The prices definitely do not match the quality of styling, if I was another person I probably would’ve walked out when she gave me that bill. I’m so upset I feel robbed!

Omggg I love Angela’s beauty lounge!! The atmosphere is so welcoming and then they really love on your hair and take very good care of it. My hair grows the fastest when she cuts it. I did a very dramatic color change w bleaching and dying and my hair feels softer and healthier than before I dyed it!:)))))) All in all I’d never go anywhere else, 10/10!!! My mother and I’s hairr:)))

They speak Spanish and English and are Very Knowledgeable about all types of hair . They use top of the line products !! Friendly Atmosphere.

I’ve been a customer of Angela’s for many years. She takes excellent care of my hair. She’s not just going to wash your hair and send you off. If something is wrong, she will explain the problem to you and provide a solution. And that’s very important to me. She’s the best!

Angela and the others provide excellent service. They use quality products and you leave looking like a million bucks, even though they don’t charge it. I have been coming to Angela for many years and she will always tell you what products you should use or not use to protect your hair. Other salons burn your hair or give you want you may want but not necessarily what you need. She will always tell you what you should do to maintain and care for your hair.

I been coming here for more than 10 years already, ever since I was a teenager in High School. Their professionalism is unique, they care for your hair heath and prices are considerable for the effort they in your hair. They tell you exactly what your hair needs, and what will look good on you. Advisement when is required is provided as well as quality products for your hair. You will not really pay for the services you get, because they worry more about your than what they get. They love what they do therefore they will give you always a good service. I recommend you a 100% these beauticians. I even bring my 11 years old and 7 years old daughters and love them.

I have been visiting Angela for more than 15 years and there is no way I would even think of changing hair stylist!!! Professional, understanding, kind, family oriented. Price is reasonable for the service you get, quality of products have been consistently amazing!
