Javi's Empanadas Oakland

I enjoyed the champion and my cousin liked the carne. When I go back I will try the sweet potato and cheese dessert, I hear it is really good!

I miss the spot that used to be here, this feels like you walk into the back of the house of a restaurant. The fridge cables are exposed, it feels empty, there's stacks of boxes and trash, it lacks decor and just feels lazily put together.

Great empanadas! First time here and had the beef and it was very flavorful and the crust/breading was perfect. Looking forward to coming back after trying the others.

Javi's is an unassuming newish outpost that slings mainly coffee and empanadas. Authentic, flaky purses of meat and veggie are aplenty here. I ended up taking on the carne empanada during my visit and it did not disappoint - tons of flavor and perfect amount of filling. My only gripe would be charging $1.25 for a thimble of chimichurri. C'mon, y'all.

I have not been to Oakland in years, But I promise the next time I am back there I will go back to this little Argentinian coffee place with great coffee and excellent empanadas. The guys working they were great and the food was great and we sit outside on the table and just people watched and enjoying Expresso and empanadas I regret not taking any pictures

Cute Little spot located in the corner of Broadway and 23rd I've been walking by from a while an today I decided to try it. I had a jamon empanada and I love it. Perfect filling and the dough is delicious!!!! Totally recommended

We purchased 30 empanadas for a party. They were very professional and we picked them up right on time. Even more importantly, they were all super delicious. An absolute hit. The ham and cheese was my favorite but every one was amazing.

This was my first visit, but it will definitely not be my last. This quaint little place has delicious Empanadas, vegetarian, and vegan options (I had the Pollo chicken), and wonderful service.
