Americas Best Value Inn Maumee Toledo

A clean room, at a very fair price. Had a microwave, tv, mini fridge. The beds were ok. They werent black hole fall in to and cant get out, but they werent planks of hardwood either. I still ended up with a decent nights sleep. Staff and check in was very friendly and fast. I would definately stay here again. The parking lot and buildings were very well lit, and open space. I was there on a tuesday, and heard no loud noises outside.

Stayed here last night. Last minute booking. Only 64 dollars. Staff was friendly. Room was incredibly clean and was updated. Nice carpet. Good fan. Shower was awesome, with soap and shampoo. TV with over 80 channels and wifi!

Room itself was nice, and staff were friendly. Very cheap with a coupon found in a rest stop booklet. The bathrooms could use a more frequent deep clean, as there was hair and fungus in the sink drain. The minifridge didn't ever get more than mildly cold at the highest setting. Putting an ice bucket in there helped, but the ice machine was broken, so I ended up using the one at the inn next door, at the advice of another passing guest. An employee attempted to enter the room with his master key before checkout time while I was packing. Thankfully there were other inner door locks I had engaged. It was only perhaps 20 minutes until checkout, and the man said that my room was on his list and people tend to leave their do not disturb signs out (as I had) even after they leave. Pretty lame excuse. Really should wait until after checkout before attempting to enter, or at least knock first.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! I booked a room for the night. Checked out on time. I thought everything was fine. 3 days later, they charged my account for the room again. Very shady business. I tried to call and ask for the manager and the person on the phone stated the manager is out of town and we do t know when he'll be back. Then hung up in me. Now the counter person will not answer the phone. I WILL be contacting the police to file a report and call the BBB regarding this!

We regularly stay at the America's Best in Woodbury Commons u0026 hoped this would be, at least, comparable. There has clearly been repairs made to the plumbing. The patch job they did is poorly done. We were in an accessible room. Huge bathroom with a wide enough door for a wheelchair. Lovely. High toilet. Great. Lift bars were practically useless. One behind the toilet, none on the side. 3 in the shower, all fairly low. And the shower itself is raised. You have to step up to get in and over u0026 down to get out. I'm just glad I don't need an accessible room. And, if you need to take a bath, the water cannot be plugged to do so. The bathroom's cleanliness was disgusting as well. I took pictures of the worst bits. Black dirt stains on the floor. The shower looked like they maybe rinsed it out between customers. They have apparently updated a few things. The TV was nice, but blocked the 3/4 length mirror. The desk was a dining table. There was also a random coffee table that we put our bags on. No armchair, just the old, stained office chair at the table. Fridge u0026 microwave, but no coffee u0026 they didn't have the customer lounge open at all. A/c worked fine. Bed was hard, but as clean as you can expect for $60 a night. They could use phone charging stations. More lighting would have been nice, as well. I don't think we'll be staying there again. I don't care that it's really close to family.

This hotel was horrible. The man behind the dirty glass window was rude, and deliberately unhelpful. My girlfriend booked the room for the same day, but upon arrival he told us we were early, and could check in at 3pm (it was 11pm). I understood the confusion and even admitted it was probably our fault. I asked if he could move our reservation, and he said no. I asked if they had rooms avalable and he said yes. After talking to him for a bit I was under the impression that we had reached an understanding and he was going to move our reservation to that night. I gave him my card to run (shady), and when I went to sign it was more than double what had been advertised and verbally told. I was irate l, but the man did not care in the slightest. I not only couldn't get my money back, but when I asked to speak to his manager he simply told me no. I asked for his name and he told me I didn't need to know his name. When he finally did tell me his name he told me it was Harry Potter. I called 4 times over 2 weeks and every time it was him and he would end up hanging up on me. I have still never gotten my money back, and thats fine the hotels price explains why the experience was so terrable; you get what you pay for. I just would strongly recommend going anywhere else. There are 4 hotels withing walking distance of this one all with much better service. Even the motel 6 down the road has a better family vibe. This place is trashy, dirty, and has staff with zero morals.

I started to give two stars but, it said that would be considered ok and this was not ok. The room was dirty and ugly. In all my years I've never been so uncomfortable in a room and I've stayed in some cheap rooms in my younger years. My husband booked this at the last minute, probably not worried because he's not too picky but, even he was not happy.

Clean room, comfy bed. Walls a bit thin. Great value, best cheap place I've stayed in the Toledo area and I've seen some horrors not far away.
