09-19-2023 00:254/5 Lots of (somewhat expensive! 😅) shops to indulge in. Loved the free parking, always useful! A little tricky getting up u0026 down a floor with a pram + non-lift goer since the stairs u0026 lift are not next to each other. Quite specific to our situation, I am aware, but still had to keep playing where's Wanda with my fianceé. P.S. Prepare for it to be BUSY if going @ a weekend.

09-18-2023 05:35plenty of shops in a nice clean u0026 modern indoor shopping centre with a great food court area I have deducted points for things which should be improved :we parked on the top floor of the pink car park ( free parking is expected in a large mall 😊) ( by Marks) in one of the disabled spaces ( it was reasonably busy inside centre ( Saturday afternoon) but the car park was very busy u0026 took a while to find a disabled space ( possibly a big problem at busy times like 🎄 when we came out of marks ( very difficult find an exit to the car park once shops are closed to go back to our car ( having to go up u0026 down in various lifts u0026 along the shopping centre( luckily a shop assistant took pity on usu0026took us/ we would never have found it otherwise 🙄) u0026 when we got outside marks there was insufficient lighting to enable me to navigate down the ramp in the dark to the car park without assistance! Inside the mall : the display shop map by Marks, did not clearly highlight - “you are here” making it difficult to establish where in the centre we were u0026 where I needed to go ( there were also no paper maps of the shopping centre to help navigate my way round, nor did I see an information desk The centre really should make more of an effort to be inclusive for people with sight problems( the online maps were so difficult to read 3 people were unable to decipher where to go and I had to phone the shop to ask for directions i was also initially impressed by the disabled toilet facilities ( seeing I did not have to share the space with a baby changing facility - big bonus at it should have meant more space u0026 a better odour u0026 they had paper towels as well as a Air fury hand drier u0026 always a bonus as both make life easier and gets gets a 👍from me but the elation soon turned to disappointment as the the disabled toilet facilities- the ones near to Card factory were so small - that once I took my wheelchair in to the toilet you then had to be a agile contortionist to be able to closeu0026 lock the door u0026 use the toilet u0026 impossible to wash your hands u0026 look in the mirror to ensure I was dressed properly, I had to call for my carer to comeu0026 stand watching my wheelchair( electricu003d money u0026 steal worthy) in order for me to use the toilet safely / very disappointing and definitely not disability friendly, when other shopping centres are installing facilities with adult changing facilities u0026 hoistu0026 height adjustable sinks - to be all inclusive shame as I probably won’t frequent the mall again , despite it having many shops i normally use

06-06-2023 20:18Free parking!!! The free parking was exciting for me because it seems that in the UK, paid parking is the norm. Meadowhall is a great shopping mall and entertainment venue. My daughter had a great time shopping here. The mall layout and store options were thorough and well considered. Bright, clean mall. It was also clear that the mall was designed to allow for less mobile persons to have an inviting and accessible experience there. Lots of family and kid friendly options and facilities as well.

05-29-2023 20:12Meadowhall shopping centre. Went to find some place to stop by going from Yorkshire to London and I found this big shopping centre in Sheffield. Had a breakfast in Frankieandbennys. Our other group went to eat in Jollibbee! They have a big food court. They also have large parking spaces. I think it was 2hrs and 50mins drive to London and less than hour drive to Yorkshire. They have a Harry potter shops anime and USA jerseys located near the food court And lots of shops. I haven’t went all of them but will comeback next time.
