Chennai Dosa Birmingham stands out as one of the pioneering South Indian restaurants in the area. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment, as they offer a diverse range of delectable dishes. The menu is extensive, boasting a wide variety of flavors that are guaranteed to satisfy one's palate. In addition, their pricing is commendably reasonable, ensuring that customers receive excellent value for their dining experience.

Quite tidy and welcoming little gem very family friendly and for larger groups. The server seemed happy to help although there was a bit of a language barrier so half of the times we had to translate for her, not a big deal as she was absolutely lovely! The food? Where do I start? Absolutely brilliant. Fresh, flavoured to perfection, crispy, sweet, spicy,.. I could go on for ages. Absolutely amazing I’m not usually lost of words but this time I definitely am. The only down bit was the hour wait and the food didn’t come all at the same time unfortunately. They seemed to focus more on delivery than our food at one point. Overall very enjoyable and delicious!

This place is great! atmosphere is chill and cool. Top notch food. The staff was helpful, even though there will be room for improvent on service side. Great place to hangout at an affordable price. The restaurant accept CASH only. There is a cash point nearby but be prepared. Restaurant timing also varied based on the day of the week. Saturday and Sunday they open early at 10 am, other days only at 12pm.

The flavors are authentic, the dosas are a standout, and the service is attentive. If you're in the mood for a satisfying and flavorful South Indian meal, Chennai Dosa is a fantastic choice. I really liked the special masala dosa, then the Mutton Dum Biriyani,etc.

Me and my friend were really craving for some masala dosa. And i ended up finding this wonderful place. Just loved the authentic masala dosa. We even went on a 2nd trip with more friends the same day. Would recommend any1 who wishes to eat indian authentic food. Just one regret i have is that kothu porotta got over and we couldn't order it🤧. Still will visit again soon😍

Such a Beautiful Restaurant, great tasty Food and Lassi was so nice, the service was good also, thank you to Chennai Dosa Birmingham.

Food is good( biriyani amazing and mutton varuval l was out of world) but the customer service is really poor.we went there for lunch and we were really late for lunch so there wasn’t crowd but few tables had customers but the customer service was really poor. We had to ask for plates, cutlery several times before we could get it. They just gave the food not sure how we were expected to eat without cutlery. No high chair for kids, really??? I won’t go back just for food considering the service but again it’s just my preference, but give it a try if you like I’m South Indian.

I must say it’s one of hidden gem In Birmingham. If you are really up to a typical South Indian and Tamilnadu cuisine, Chennai Dosa is the best option. We have tried so many restaurants in and around UK, this one definitely you must try. We ordered , Idly and Vada, Ghee Roast, chicken Kothu Parotta, chicken Chettinadu Curry and parrota. All of the food was really good. The chef made it everything right and I must say he is very professional and use the ingredients all right to match the Tamilnadu cuisine. After seeing everyone was trying their Briyani, Bucket Briyani we made a takeaway, I must say it’s a must try. Chef name was Prakash and he is from Trichy , and the service staff was really good. He made it easy for us order.
