Went in the Luton store on the off chance of finding something I wanted. Kris was amazing, not pushy as some salesmen are. The boss (sorry didn't get your name) made a lovely cup of coffee.. very welcoming! The fitters Glenn and Antony were friendly, professional and attention to detail was really nice. Would recommend the Luton store to anyone wanting quality goods and quality service. Well done guys. Tracy Stevens.

Recently bought flooring and carpets from Tapi Carpets, Luton, for my new build home. Dealt with Sukh for the purchase and initially gave him a hard time, as I was disappointed with the shops range of products. Sukh patiently listened to me moan and complain and somehow, quite skilfully and unbeknownst to me turned me right round and I found myself selecting a variety of floor choices. He later visited my home to measure up and discuss my choices. As a result, I decided to change one, as I no longer liked it and agreed to meet Sukh back at the store to choose something else. Once I arrived, Sukh had chosen ahead of me and it was perfect. He completely understood my requirements. I felt valued and well looked after and was fortunate enough to procure a quick fitting appointment. This was done by fitter Glen. An equally lovely guy, who gives an excellent service. He screeded my floor beautifully and diligently, fit the bedroom carpets, cut the doors accordingly and cleaned up any mess. I cannot fault the customer service. There was a hiccup with my landing and stair carpet. The manufacture had sent the wrong one. Glen alerted Sukh immediately and Sukh came over to my home to check and offer sincere apologies. Glen had started laying the underlay before we discovered the mistake but ensured it was safe and all nails were covered. He then called the little ones in my home, told them to be careful and showed them where to step in order to not hurt themselves. I had to wait a few days before the carpet could be delivered and thankfully had no issues, thanks to Glen's diligence. Once the carpet arrived, Glen came early to fit it and to ensure I wasn't kept waiting any longer. I felt very reassured by Glen's knowledge and advice regarding my flooring choices and how to care for them. I asked him to lay off cuts in my cupboard, which he was happy to do and did so beautifully. He also advised using the bigger off cuts to make a large rug and a runner and advised me to take them back to their store to have the edges whipped. Definitely planning to do that. Completely unprofessional service. Firstly I had to wait around a week and a half to get an appointment (which I understand isn't a huge issue) I was booked in for a Saturday. Asked the team to give me a message 15 minutes before the Floorist arrived - received a message at 10.25am saying someone will be there shortly. Half an hour went by and no-one arrived. I called the store to chase up who told me he should be there in 10 minute. About 20 minutes went by. The floorist arrived (bearing in mind I've never met this person) right away his attitude dictated the the tone of the appointment. His FIRST words were 'why you calling the shop!' - i told him I received a message about an hour ago telling me he'll arrive shortly - his response once 'well I was on another job. . .' Next was, well what do you want? I told him I need measurements and Tapi told me you'd have samples? He said, I don't measure? I was half tempted to terminate the appointment then and there but im nice so I continued. He showed me a few samples measured up and provided nothing to no advice. It was more of, pick what you want. He told me he would get a quote for me on that day, he didn't, I sms'd no response. Sunday, nothing. It's now Tuesday and still nothing. I sincerely suggest Tapi spend some time putting their employees through some customer service training because as a professional myself, in sales, this is not how you do business. For obvious reasons I went somewhere else, the salesman was knowledgable, experienced and polite. I'm not going to name the floorist but for obvious reasons but if you you have the same experience as me, you'll know who he is. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BENCHMARK OF ANY BUSINESS!

Great product and price. Easy to deal with. Fitter done a great job but failed to clear up at the end so hence only 4 stars.
