Poundland

I was helped today by the wonderful Gary. As I entered the store I was greeted and asked if I required a basket. Gary assisted me once I finished shopping by lifting my basket the scanning my items at the self scanner and packing my items as my hands were full with the baby. Gary went above and beyond to help us and I'm truly grateful. Great selection of products and a very large store with lots of free parking. Thanks again Gary for your amazing customer service. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Everything is still in £1 thats a win win for them in this inflation era.

You might expect a poundland in Luton to leave a lot to be desired, but actually this one in Gypsy lane is very well run. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, the shelves are kept as tidy as possible and (obviously) everything is cheap. The self serve tills are also surprisingly rather good.

Why don't more people go to pound land? For God's sakes their clothes are better quality and cheaper than other budget high street shops.

All kinds of stuff. £1 everything. Helpful staff. More then 3 tilts open in peak time and 2 off peak.

I just been there today and the security told me not allow me to carry coffee in to the shop. I'm not sure for what reason. If it's somw restaurant or coffee shop they not allow because they sell the same product so you cannot sit in coffee shop with the drink from other shop. This is grocery shop! What reason? We will spill it and they lazy to clean? We will put empty cup on the shelf? we will fight in there with coffee cup? Stealing something by putting in coffee cup? Please tell me with sense?

This is the biggest pounding I visited. It sells clothes and a.variety of items for the home. It also has a lovely garden section that is fantastic. There is also food stationery etc. Lovely section on arts and craft the reason we visited to keep the children quiet.

Very nice staff. Let me in while closing the shop. Just needed one item. ; )
