You definitely don’t get service with a smile here - the owner/manager is such a grumpy guy you feel like you’re inconveniencing him for coming into the shop! I’ve been here a few times but won’t be going there anymore - Go to FEAST instead - much friendlier staff and diverse potato toppings to boot!

My mum calls in here often. She has Alzheimer's. The owner is amazing. We called in today because mum seemed to think that she owed for food. The owner said...not a problem,. How kind. To give credit to mum knowing that he probably wont get paid. Thank you for being so kind to mum x your food is lovely. Your jacket potatoes and fillings are amazing.

Place really good if you want the food to stay in your system for an hour only before you are forced to sit down on the toilet. Female staff are nice but at the end of the day i came to get food and not to see them. Male Manager is rude, obnoxious, and tight with portions and just down right horrible. There is lots of variety there but it just does not agree with my stomach. My advice would be to stay well away.

The food is great and the staff are great , no idea how this place has bad reviews. Maybe it is the woke people who are offended by anything and everything . It doesn't stay around for over 22 years for nothing . Highly recommend the chinese chicken with lettuce and sweetcorn with a bit of butter on it and the jacket potatoes are great ..

Fabulous food as always , apparently they’ve been in business over 20 years now and you can see why .always use the freshest salads etc. Service is fast and efficient and the staff are always pleasant.a credit to independent sandwich shops

Not bad, until you go in and realise you’re being served by some bloke with the attitude of a cave troll. If you want nice service along with food you can stomach for more than 10 minutes then I suggest QC’s bagel cafe.

Have been coming here since they were inside orchard Square. Staff have always been polite and friendly and the jacket potatoes are the nicest around.

Food are really delicious but menager are really grumpy, u just feel unwelcome sometimes. I do understand ppl got a problems but leave ur problems at home dont bring them to work, specially if is his business and its really good food.
