Screwfix Southampton - Millbrook

Despite the recent promotion stating click and collect in as little as 1 minute you'll never get your order in anything resembling quick service at this branch. Despite the friendly staff on the counters the pickers are at best useless. Never had a order go smoothly yet.

Order online, turn up and collect. Ideal service. A lot of the items are a lot cheaper than at a regular DIY store, good stock held in the store, some items may take a day to get hold of.

This store is hit and miss with customer service to be honest. As a company, myself and my partner stretch to many different trades, including electrical, plumbing and decorating, bathroom/kitchen fitting, cleaning, gardening and many more. As a female walking in to the trade side of the building to collect materials or supplies, you would have thought that the female staff would be much more welcoming. Unfortunately this was not the case for me. I got told! not asked first that I was on the wrong side.. Which I of course replied 'yes I am!. The reply back was.. for what!! I explained electrical.. again I got told again 'I don't think so'! . Two young men were stood talking to this lady at the time and they had to tell her that she was being extremely sexist. I was in such shock that I didn't say much. The rest of the visit was extremely condescending, telling me that I order my products wrong, asking me if the items for me personally or my business partner? (trying to establish if the electrical supplies were for me to use personally) . Unbelievable!!

Tallish lady working 22/09 around 4pm was amazing. Came in the store with half knowledge about the thing i wanted but she bought out and opened boxes to show us what we needed. In the end she recommend something that we really needed, extremely knowledgeable.

Fantastic service from lady on reception. Other stores didn't not have product in-store. Well done Screwfix,quick and polite experience
