07-18-2023 19:39The Real China is located on the first floor of St. Stephens Shopping centre in Hull city centre which has plenty of cheap parking. Access by stairs or a lift. Staff were very welcoming, well presented and polite. The venue is a cosy place that was clean. The food was exceptional although there was one of the chicken selections that was a bit tougher to get through. Pricing was very fair as shown in the attached image. Not as many choices as some other all you can eat Chinese restaurants. If your still hungry, leave your plate on your assigned table and get a fresh clean plate to load up again. By the time you get back your previous place will of been taken away. There was a small choice of deserts, which were very nice. Sitting at the next table to another customer, I told by them the night time choice has more to choose from. As you will notice from the image the night time sitting costs a little more. Well worth the visit and money 9/10 rating from me

07-11-2023 01:32When it comes to all-you-can-eat Asian food, The Real China flys above the rest in Hull City Centre. There are a few places that serve Asian food in the town centre with a choice of Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese u0026 Thai cuisine and there are two all-you-can-eat places within walking distance of each other. The Real China is by far the best one. Competitively priced with a wide selection of Oriental dishes and a few English sides like chips, onion rings etc. there is something for most people here. The Real China is the best all-you-can-eat place in Hull’s Town Centre by a long way and it adds to the excellent choice of Asian food in the City.

06-23-2023 07:35The food is nice but I always eat the same thing so I haven't tried some of the dishes. I feel that it is reasonable prices for lunch at around £22 including a refillable drink. They should have more puddings on in the afternoon my little girl thinks as they only have cake and ice-cream. They have a lot more options to offer on an evening but cost more. The staff clear your used plates quickly so they are not piling up. The booths are nice to sit in, but I feel the other seating is a little too close to other people also dining here. It all most feels that you are all sitting together. You can't have a private conversation as you can hear what the other table is saying, haha.

06-16-2023 05:38Visited on a Sunday lunchtime. Arrived to find a queue of about 15 in front of us. 5 minutes later we were shown to a table because the people infront of us were waiting for larger tables (we were a party of 2) The staff were very friendly and cleared the tables promptly. The food was nice, not as much choice as other buffet locations - but the lower price reflects this. Love the refill drinks option! Would definitely go back if I was in Hull again.

06-13-2023 11:01Treat for the grand daughter at the end of her first week back at school. She enjoys the choice of dishes u0026 it's only £3.95 for her if we arrive before 4.30. But they sting you with the drinks prices, £2.95 for refillable fizzy drink glass! Very limited sweets until after 4.30 also but still, a good option all you can eat in the town centre u0026 we really enjoy it. Staff are very attentive u0026 polite. We'll be back.

05-03-2023 01:38To be honest the food qualities and the price in the town centre are unbeatable. It’s a buffet with a long queue but still you could get in within 30 mins. Food is beyond my expectations and the staff are kind and friendly, highly recommended if you need for some exotics oriental food.

04-09-2023 18:06Word of advice simply don't bother even dining. I recently visited The Real China restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. To start off, the atmosphere was quite unpleasant as the capacity management was poor and it felt like we were sitting on top of each other. It was hard to enjoy our meal when we were so cramped and uncomfortable. However, the worst part of my experience was discovering hair in my Salt and Pepper Chicken dish. When I brought this to the attention of who I presume was the manager, their response was completely unacceptable. They simply said It's not meant to be like that, but it sometimes is as if finding hair in food is a common occurrence at their restaurant. This was not only unprofessional but also quite concerning from a food hygiene perspective. After this incident, I was completely put off eating and didn't feel comfortable with the quality of the food being served. Overall, my experience at The Real China was very negative and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is important for restaurants to take food hygiene seriously and not dismiss such incidents as common or trivial, this issue is being reported to Food Hygeine, and I am completely disappointed.
