Enjoyed our time and meal at Zen. Two of party had starters which they enjoyed. All 4 of us had mains which we all thoroughly enjoyed and 3 had desserts which they also enjoyed. The place was spotless and we were given a table near the windows looking out onto the beach. We parked our car about 2 or 3 minutes walk away in the large carpark straight opposite near to the Seaburn Stack. The main reason for not giving 5*s was the added service charge. If the service deserves a tip it should be up the the customer to decide.

Wish we had went to local takeaway instead as nothing tasted fresh. We got sweet and sour chicken which wasnt cooked fresh, chicken had already been cooked then warmed up when ordered. Chicken was so hard to cut and chew, this was same for my toddlers honey chilli chicken kids meal which came with rice that didn’t seem fresh either. My partner got a pint of corona draft and he said it tasted watered down. £10 tip had been added to our bill at the end too, which seemed a bit much for the service we had received. Would never go back.

Nice restaurant, good and tasty food, amazing views, friendly and polite female service staff, well decorated restaurant good music, clean toilets.

Delicious Tai food, with sea view, and very friendly personnel.

Great value for money lunch menu loads of choices 🤤 would love to try a starter tapas menu if available ! Definitely going back 🦀🌶️🐔🍤🍜

Had a evening meal last night with husband. Service and food were amazing and very tasty. Very impressed that the owner or I think she was came over as I mentioned I had a food allergy, wanted to help best they could so i didn't have any reaction. This was much appreciated. Thank you for a lovely evening. Highly recommend.

Great quality good and nice environment. Staff friendly and food was very nice. Not a cheap meal starters around £7-8, mains £15+ but good quality.
