Popped in on a week day. It was around 6pm, very quiet and very few customers. Everything looked very clean and well presented. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Food was nice, we had the thali, my only complaint is the bread things that came with it didn't taste or feel fresh and were a bit hard and dry. I got a peshwari naan to go with it and it is the best naan I have ever had. I think it is a little overpriced but I guess that comes down to location. Overall a nice experience. Toilets were nice enough and clean although not sure how the women will get on with two cubicles on busy nights??

What a beautiful lil gem in Battersea! If you want authentic Indian food then this is the place for you. Good service and good food! We really enjoyed ourselves. Will be back soon.

Our visit to Chokhi Dhani for Sunday lunch was marked by a pleasant ambiance, courteous staff, and a relaxed setting. Although the initial service was considerate in letting us wait for our third friend, the restaurant wasn't bustling, likely due to the weather. We opted for Lassi, 2 non-veg Maharaja thalis, and an additional rice. The Lassi was excellent, and the thali presented a diverse array from poppadoms to different types of roti and sides. However, some dishes, notably the laal maas, fell short with a bitter taste and detectable uncooked tomato puree, disappointing considering it's a specialty. On a positive note, the daal and dal bati churma shone as highlights. Regrettably, the overall satisfaction with the thali didn't match its price. On a brighter note, the separate orders of malpua with rabri and rasmalai were exceptional. In conclusion, Chokhi Dhani impressed with its ambiance, location, and service, but the inconsistent quality of certain dishes left our dining experience somewhat unsatisfying.
