Halfords - Bradford

Bitterly disappointed with customer service. It was bad enough when I went into the store to try out a couple of bikes and was fobbed off onto the work experience student who could get down the bikes I wanted but had very little knowledge of them and didn't ask me about what I was looking for. I selected the bike I wanted, ordered it online with some accessories and thought I'd got a pretty good deal - I'd taken advantage of a couple of offers and used a gift card. When I went to place the order, there was a technical hitch that meant my account was charged without the order being placed. I thought it was a bit odd I didn't get any confirmation. I spent a lot of time chasing up their customer service team as to whether they had the order or not. A week later, I'm still in correspondence trying to get the same goods that I did for the same price. Very unimpressed.

Disappointing service for the second time in a row, we bought 2 bike’s, one a couple of months ago and another this time, they look at you as if you’re disturbing them from something else they’d prefer to do, first bike, I had to ask for instructions or any information about the bike that comes in the box, then they searched around and found some bits of paper to give me, 2nd bike again I had to ask, are there any instructions with this? Is there a spanner included in the box? I’d seen an unboxing and knew there was a spanner in the box, the guy just said “if we build it for you, you don’t need any tools” just seemed strange to me, why keep the spanner and other bits? 5mins later he passed me a grotty manual, I didn’t give poor review last time, but I thought I’d share my experience since that’s obviously how they treat customers at Bradford store. Try other stores in my opinion, I know we will, and we’re buying another bike in a week or so!

Very helpful, told them what i needed, they looked it up and went and got me it even offered to fit it for an extra fee ( handy) even the guy on the till was pleasant. I am going back for a new dash cam and it fitting.
