City Plumbing

The new staff are very unhelpful and don't have any knowledge about the materials and parts they are selling, they told me we are not plumbers so we don't know anything about it. I only wanted to buy a hot water cylinder thermostat they couldn't even be bothered to look on their computer. Since the old managers have moved on and the last one got the sack and the good old staff went elsewhere because of the poor working conditions and incompetence in the company this place has really gone downhill. After 10 years of spending around £30,000 per annum in this shop I have now taken my business elsewhere as I believe many others will do. If you want a good service don't go to City Plumbing. When I questioned the price on a boiler previously, they said if you don't like it just get one somewhere else!! Customer service....ha!

Called into City Plumbing Cwmdu Swansea today having searched for a push button toilet flush everywhere - within minutes they had supplied and instructed me on how to fit it. On getting home it was fitted and working within 5 minutes. Item very reasonably priced. Thank you.

Cannot believe how rude and unhelpful the 2 men working in here today (weds 12/10/22) were. Worst customer service I have seen in years - went in and walked up to counter - behind counter was a screen and approx 10 feet behind screen were 2 men sitting at desks - neither of them got up to deal with me - after a while one bothered to ask what I wanted - I had to speak up to cover the distance from my side of counter to where they were resting. I said I needed advice on a thermostat controller for a baxi combination boiler - one of them pointed to a shelf from his seat and said there they are - I added that I needed advice on what sort I needed I was then told I needed a plumber! This is 2022 not 1972 when condescending men treated female customers with such disrespect - I just wanted simple advice on which unit would work with my heating system. They did not have any intention to get out of their seats to deal with me - I told them I was sorry to disturb them and not to bother I would go elsewhere. Went to MPH across the car park who were incredibly friendly and helpful. I am doing full renovation of 4 bed property needing kitchen 2 bathrooms and loo and will never set foot in city plumbing again or spend one penny there (financial) Thought i had stepped back in time to sexist patronising episode of life on Mars.

Liam and mike serve me and my company daily and cant do enough for us. Their knowledge is second to none and always at the end of the phone.

Top notch merchants, everyone working there is friendly, helpful and go the extra mile. Always have what I need and if they don’t it’s there waiting for me next day. Would highly recommend.

Went into to ask about some flexible pipe for a macerator, only to be told, watch some videos on you tube. I know how to fit it. I just need some flexible pipe..Pathetic..

Excellent service from Liam and Mike behind the counter. Very helpful and always go the extra mile. Very good part availability which in turn keeps my customers happy! My Boiler maintenance business requires a quick turn around and city plumbing have ensured I meet my customers needs. Thanks again lads and will continue to use yourselves in the future.
