05-21-2023 21:50Walking into a builders merchant as a woman always comes with a sense of ‘how’s this going to go?’. Comments like “you probably don’t need that”, “did your boyfriend forget his sandwiches” or “is all this for your partner” are something you grow to get used to, though it never gets less annoying. None of this at Elliots though! Rob was really helpful, acted like I was any other customer and got me exactly what I needed by answering all my questions and not being even a tiny bit patronising. Good price for decent gear too. Someone give him a raise. Will get all my tools from here from now on.
