Regent Circus

All that remains here is the cinema and a bar. No supermarket, no restaurants. They could do with a café or two and some toilets. They really need to get something into the old Morrison's store. A market would be good, but anything would be better than having it empty. The area has gone downhill lately- the bar hasn't helped in my opinion, if I wanted to open a restaurant I wouldn't want it there as in the evenings it's dominated by the bar. Often find urine in the lift at weekends 😬 If the owners want the area to be a success they need to sort it out and get some tenants into the units.

Oddly layed out, with basically nothing but a cinema and a few restaurants. Don't even know why you'd call this an arcade or shopping centre... Its definitely not a circus, not a single clown or elephant seen, very disappointed.

Car park full, not great atmosphere. Better off going to Old Town if in Swindon or Shaw Ridge if going to the cinema.

What a depressing area. Swindon council should be shamed and sacked. If you want fast food and takeaways its the place for you. Anything else forget it.

Very nice cinema halls, very good ambience, helpful staff. Sound and quality of visuals were excellent. Surely a good family hangout as there are plenty of restaurants around this place and town center is hop skip jump. Plenty of parking as well. We liked and would surely recommend.

Went here on a whim after something different from the norm. Easily accessible and parking in the nearby car park is convenient. Allthough at first sight it appears that there are a lot of steps to get in, there is access from inside, and I believe, lift access as well. The restaurant itself appears clean, the staff were helpful and cheery. Perusing the menu I made a selection and ordered a meal for two people as a take away rather than sit down meal. What I ordered came with a side, and I ordered an additional side. I sat and had a beer while I waited, then took home my meal. What I recieved when I got home wasn't enough for one person let alone two. Both sides were not much bigger than a matchbox, and the chicken was two tiny breasts. Certainly not worth the money I had to pay for it. I needed to go out again to buy an additional meal. I will never again subject myself to this extortion.

Horrible experience! I’ve never been treated so badly in a cinema in my whole life. I live far from the center and is not easy for me to go to the cinema often or on weak days. For that reason, I saved time on Saturday to watch a movie that I was waiting for months. Unfortunately, I don’t have a car or tent to use public transport here, because is complicated for me. Does not have a public bus where I live. I have to walk 20 min until the first bus stop, for example. So, I've bought my ticket in a raining day, because was what I could do. And, to give me support, I've got an electric scooter.. Which helps me get around at work, for example. So, I arrived at the cinema was 5h50 pm, verry wet… but ok. I was finally there… Running out of battery, I put my mobile to charge, because I needed to chat with my mom… And when was the picture started to hostile… The manager came straight to me, and without saying “hi”, asking my name, or even trying to understand why I was doing that…she just came with NO MANNERS, NOT BEING POLITE, and said: “Take your plug out! And what are planning to do with your scooter? You won't get in with that!” So was when I trying to Understand what was happening… I asked why… but the person kept repeating the same phrase. I’ve said ok to unplug my cell phone, and asked if I could bring my scooter with me.. “to watch”, because I can fold it. And I do not have no place to leave it and there is no banner our awarning saying it on the cinema… And was when the person said: “It’s not my problem, you're not allowed to do it here. You can not be here with that” Even I was trying just chat and understand the person insisted for me leave, literally get out! She said it's because is electric, but I can get into the cinema or just leave it here off… not on, while thausand of people come here every month with cellphones, smart watches, computers, etc etc… many devices ON, that's have battery. My point is, at the first time… Even the person being VERY VERY RUDE! I understood that I couldn't leave it here, but THE WAY the peole chatted with me, for almost 15 min. Made it the worst experience in a CINEMA that I’ve ever had in my whole life! And furthermore, was I the person that had to ask for “the money back”. Because that people DID NO SAY ANYTHING about it…. Was just asking for me to leave, without mentioning this solution to me. So I was about to lose it to. Hope the cinema improves it’s treatment with the customers!

Cinema is pretty good but none of the automatic machines appeared to work. Parking is free but stressful as there's a sign that says be sure to park in the right place but staff don't seem able to articulate what that is. So now I have a couple of weeks wait in case the parking scammer company decided I've parked in the wrong place. Not sure I'll use this one again, less worry at Shaw ridge
