Great location. Staff is nice to help. Rooms even when they charge you a 100 pounds deposit are damage here and there. We had issues with the hot water in the room and the curtains were all falling down. No phone in the room to call front desk, so you need to go downstairs. Been in London, even if it is a little outside the center, not the most expensive option, but make sure to read the comments.

The room was awful with no cleaning service and no window that could be opened. When we asked for cleaning, they said they only do it once every two days, so we stayed for three nights without any cleaning at all. There were no bathroom cupboards, so we had to put our stuff on the floor of the bathroom. The bathroom itself was just an empty space with a sink, toilet, and an almost broken shower. Also we asked for a room for three people, but the second bed was wonky and the bedding sheets were dirty. The hotel already seemed sketchy as they had so many rules displayed on the walls of the reception. This excessive rule-setting gave us the impression that the hotel is trying to compensate for certain shortcomings or issues. It created a negative atmosphere and further added to our reservations about the overall quality of the place. When we expressed our dissatisfaction and requested to change the room, they told us that there were no available rooms. The room looked completely different from the advertised photos. To top it off, they charged us £20 for an early check-in. I don’t recommend this hotel at all, it was a total disappointment!

Don't make the same mistake as me... the reviews are not exaggerating! The room I was given was NOTHING like the one I booked. I was given a room in the basement with no windows or natural light, no phone signal and no wardrobe. There was a strong smell from the drains and you can hear every toilet and tap from all the other rooms. The bed is two singles pushed together, causing a significant slant and dip in the middle. The walls are dirty and damaged. The room is a lot smaller than the 269 sq ft stated in the listing The air conditioning controls don't work. The rooms were never cleaned throughout the duration of the stay. The common areas / hallways were disgusting and to top it all off there was a SOILED NAPPY outside my room. The staff didn't want to speak to me. They just kept repeating this was the only room available. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Where do I start with this booking. Firstly on the 21st just 24 hours before the check-in I got a very aggressive message off the hotel advising because I had chosen to pay on arrival, I needed to give them a precise time I was checking in or they would cancel the booking. Upon arrival and checking in which was pleasant enough we went up to the room. The smell in the room could not be described any other way as days old sick and cheesy feet it was disgusting. I had to open all the windows to try and get some air in there. The state of the room itself was disgusting. It was filthy. The Staines on the bed The mould on the bathroom wall and shower The dirt on the bathroom vent is disgusting clearly not been cleaned in a year. The holes on the walls in the bathroom and living area. The dirty pillows and bed sheets due to the plaster and paint falling on the bed from the hole in the ceiling above it. The electrics hanging off the wall. The place was vile. Please see pictures attached to email. We attempted to look for other accommodation but at such short notice to accommodate 3 people we were not successful. We reluctantly stayed the night after going out for foot and drinks – I informed the reception how unhappy I was, and they advised there was nothing they could do as the manager was on holiday, so I had to email them. The TV and Wi-Fi also didn’t work but these were the least of our issues. They responded with an offer of a 20% refund which I refused after advising I wanted a full refund; they offered 40% which I also refused. They have since not responded to any emails or calls to rectify this.

This hotel is not as bad as the reviews, its not perfect but its not awful. If they could just pick up on housekeeping, a check list to make sure each room has the required number of items in the kitchen for the number of people, toilet paler in the bathroom etc, otherwise a lovely comfortable bed, great bedlinen, great bathroom. Only drawback to our room 303 on 19 October was the awful smell of stale cigarette smoke in the room other wise it could have been a 4 stars

This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in! To start with they scammed us by giving us the wrong room (even charged us for the bigger room even though receptionist knew it wasn’t available), the hotel is not maintained and are def NOT a 4 star more like a 2 star if I’m being generous. The bad parts are; Rooms are not maintained, smelly, windows not working, noisy, beds are so bad they sink into the middle had a back pain for a week after leaving, worst quality bedsheets, pillows were horrible, bathroom so bad, reception staff barely spoke English, ACs weren’t working properly, lifts didn’t always work, fire alarm went on constantly, no amenities (again how is this a 4star) The good Parking on site (chargeable) and the location. I hope the owners of the hotel read the reviews and make some changes to the place as it’s such a wasted opportunity given the location of the hotel!!
