Pentagon Sheffield | Vauxhall and Motability

Poor customer service - Although happy to edit my review if my complaint is dealt with. Our business sent a Vauxhall Combo to the garage under warranty last month as it went into safety mode and it was unknown why. It took around 3-4 weeks to fix then broke down again in less than a week. Another 3 weeks on and we still do not have the van back or even the offer a replacement vehicle while ours is in the shop. It was originally one of our employees dealing with this but the directors of the business have now got involved. I rang up for an update only to be put on hold for 15 minutes then the phone went dead. Presumably because the woman in the service office hanged up - I rang back moments later and no one would answer. I have since contacted Pentagon through their website. I was then rang back by someone in the service team (Scott) who tried to claim the first person tried picking the phone back up and it was dead so they just hanged up – Do not believe this for a second. Pentagon have no idea how long it will take the van so we are now in limbo without a van. Apparently the waiting list for vehicles is 3 weeks… well it has been 3 weeks since the van went in so this is meaningless. Now awaiting a call back from a manager, if there is not a call back today then me and another director will have no other option except to visit in person next Monday to resolve the current issues and complain. UPDATE: Finally got our van back after 4 months and still not fixed. Hazard symbols still on the dashboard. Pentagon tried to pass it off as a Vauxhall issue despite needing the van for a month after they said they had fixed it. Shambolic and refuse to take any responability. Even wanted to charge us for a service after they had it for so long. In addition we were not compensated for the fuel in the rental cars which was in them when returned. Avoid at all costs.

Purchased a car from this garage with the standard 12 months warranty and paid for the 2 years extended. Called the included breakdown service out due to a flat battery, they advised me it's a software fault and will need diagnostics. Cleared this with both the garage and the warranty team before taking it in to a dealer garage, it turned out to not be software so they have refused to pay the diagnostic charge and stuck me with the bill. Had I known I was supposed to be both an expert mechanic and clairvoyant to be able to not get stuck with the very unexpected bills I purchased the warranty to avoid, I wouldn't have bothered with it. I claimed again on the warranty due to another issue not long after and it took 5 hours and 11 phone calls for them to pay the bill so I could have my car back. I recommend buying elsewhere.

Thus garage is a joke when to them as I had a transmission oil light told not to drive it and said it would be 5 weeks before they could put it on diagnostics. so booked it in with perrys of Rotherham wow what a dantastic garage sorted my car out on 10 mins .only needed trip computer reset .PERRYS ROTHERHAM BRILLIANT

Waited 2 weeks for an appointment to get by van fixed. Which then became another 3 weeks as technician were busy! Sorry didn't I wait 2 weeks already because they were. Then parred off on phones or no answer. Then if you go in person and kick of all of a sudden they have an answer in 2 days. Then lied to about potential cheaper fix and waited another 4 weeks for that answer. Parred off on phones again and sometime snot answering phones/ emails. misinformed about some of the costs, no ownership of tasks and I'm always the one chasing. Went in again to make myself known. Now change of story, no cheaper fix, actually waiting for goodwill from manufacturer. Can't order parts of starts repairs until they offer something. That doesn't materialise. Now ordering parts, told 2/3 weeks. It's been 4 weeks and not a single courtesy call or email or APOLOGY! Now the endless wait for have my van fixed has past the 3 months mark and still no sympathy from anyone as to how this is affecting business. These guys simply do not understand the basic principals of customer service or taking ownership of complaints of unhappy customers. They don't care. Just sell more cars. Not to mention Vauxhall are involved in a huge emissions scandal with a class action lawsuit against them by Leigh Day Legal. They're partnered with Peugeot and Citroen on this and I see the same looking vans everywhere just with different badges. So its straight up capitalist mass produced rubbish. I'd dodge this lot
