Travelodge Manchester Central

Location of this hotel is brilliant and the staff on reception when we arrived was friendly and chatty! Abit of an issue with the key card when we arrived and it wouldn’t unlock the door for me. The room we had was very basic the carpet was all bumpy in one part and the bath had a big yellow mark down the middle and the plug didn’t look the cleanest, could do with a couple of glasses in the room too. The best thing about the stay was the bed although the advert said you get 4 pillows my room literally only had 2 with no extras unfortunately. We checked out at 8am because we just wanted to leave but the 12pm checkout seems very generous.

Short walk from the city centre. Nice rooms but heater could've been better! Mike at breakfast deserves a special mention. Breakfast was consistently great.

Absolutely disgusting! Couldn’t sleep at all, me and my partner was itchy! Had to double up on the duvets (using other duvets) so we could just stop itching and it didn’t work! Did complain about this situation but of course they said they would call and get the issue sorted, no phone call. They dismissed the issue and acted like it never happened! Obviously they’ll say anything to your face to get you out the door. I would post photos but I don’t really want to expose me or my partner. However.. great location, some staff was great. Clean rooms and sizy! Wont be returning to this hotel tho! No chance!

This hotel is in a great location and the staff are brilliant. Mandy checked us in and was super efficient and helpful. Rooms are a great size and the decor is basic, but in great condition. Breakfast is 9 pounds per person and can be purchased on the day. The only negative is that you have to pay three pounds per night for Wi-Fi.

Good location, but the rooms are tired. Toilet didn't flush properly and the coffee machine in the standard plus room was dirty and had to be rinsed 3 times before the water was clean. Not worth paying the extra money for in my opinion. Good location for the arndale and close to victoria station. Nothing fancy but it was okay for one night!

Couldn't ask for any more from a budget hotel. Fantastic location a very short walk from Deans gate and the Arndale Centre. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Room was basic, functional but the bed was comfy and the room was quiet. Bit of a funky stale smell in the bathroom but that was a minor gripe.

Decent location with many things on the doorstep. Still a fair trek to the nearest tram station but needed the exercise and fresh northern air. Lovely staff. Family room was big, but duvet smelled of old socks.

Really enjoyed our stay at the travel lodge. Breakfast next day was great valve for money. Mike made us feel welcome and went well out his way to make us feel comfortable. Will definitely be returning.
