Master Wei Xi'An

Ordered a bowl of Qi Shan Pork Hand-Pulled Noodles in Spicy and Sour Sauce 岐山干拌面. A little spicy but not too much. The pork was tender. Hand-Pulled Noodle was a little chewy. Worth a try.

Friendly staffs and lively vibes. Food wise, average u0026 definitely can be improved in terms of spiciness u0026 taste. Appreciate the light touch of lucky cookies at the end of the meal.

The food wasn't as authentic as I expected, but without prejudice the food still tasted nice. There's definitely a lot of Cantonese influence, Probably great for people who are used to Cantonese food, but not for me who was craving more Northern tastes. For the specific foods, I enjoyed the Biangbiang noodles. The sauce is more soy sauce-y than I expected but it was still good. The noodles were too soft for me. The cumin in the cumin beef bun was negligible. I don't recommend this if you're a sucker for cumin like I am. The servers definitely worked in Hong Kong before. Efficient to the point of rushing. Put my soul right back home, but maybe not for relaxation.

Casual, no frills Xi'An joint with a nice range of snacks and dishes (hot and cold). Five stars for the incredible food, particularly for the 凉皮 noodles which I regularly obsess over (a bit spicy, in case you don't like that!) The portions are generous for the cost, which is very reasonable. The service is nothing to write home about... Sometimes I don't even get a hello. But it's OK, because the food really hits the spot. But the noodles, mushroom (the black fungus is spicy but incredible) and smacked cucumber... I get hungry whenever I think of it! I need to come back to assess the Biang Biang noodles as well. The vegetarian dumplings weren't to my particular liking (I found them a but bland), but the rest has been awesome. The place itself is small and snug, and gets very crowded evenings and especially weekends, so make sure you have a reservation before going. Before 5pm, I've never had a problem. Only thing is it may not be great for people with accessibility issues, since the toilet is down a set of narrow stairs.

We came here after a horrible experience at a restaurant nearby, and what a lucky strike. They made us wait just 5 min even though we had no reservation. The gentleman was so fast to accommodate us. Then the order started and he couldn't be more helpful. Although the place was extremely busy, he was still cheerful and attentive. We ordered amazing Xian food. And having been in that city myself, must say it was like eating their street food again. Everything arrived quickly, with incredible flavors. Finished with with typical fortune cookie. Overall a wonderful experience, both service and gastronomy wise. If you craving authentic Xi'an food, and want to be treated like an Emperor, do yourself a favor and go eat here.

Absolutely AMAZING. One of best Chinese restaurants I ever been. Had no idea that Xì’An cuisine is so different and tasty. Well done and highly, highly recommend.

Situated in a small and quiet side alley off the main road, a place l wouldn’t know existed. Curiosity bought me and a bunch of friends here for lunch when it was suggested by another friend. As it was a Saturday, we made sure to reserve a table, however it wasn’t needed. There were a few tables outside which was a nice option. The restaurant itself is small and cosy served by Cantonese and Mandarin speakers. We all ordered different dishes and a few others to share. The chicken in chilly oil was just the right, not over cooked. I loved the shredded potato dish, one of my favourites. The bang bang and lamb with bigger hand pulled noodles were the best. The meat was tender and tasty. The pork noodles with small chucks of meat was very small, needed bit more pork really. The lamb and beef in spicy sauce was popular for us. The spicy level was toned down maybe to accommodate locals. We would have liked it to be a bit more spicier. Service was good and pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. I’d definitely head back and try other dishes.

Make a reservations especially on Fridays and weekends. Food is very authentic and service is quick and efficient. The staff will do their best to sit you as comfortably as possible but the restaurant isn’t that big so it can be a bit of a squeeze. The food is the star here and we’ll be back if we are in the area for their noodles.
