10-07-2023 05:51This hotel is not for everyone. We checked out early from this hotel and were not offered a refund for our final night. I will give you all of the reasons why we were not satisfied with our stay. We raised the big reasons with the management and were not offered a refund. The two biggest reasons: The hotel did not have functioning wifi and the hotel was excessively noisy. When we told the hotel staff about the wifi early on, they laughed and said oh just pretend we don't have any!. Having wifi is important for me when I am traveling and I racked up additional roaming charges to get enough data. The staff claimed after we checked out that it is working fine but that was not my experience. There were other issues. If you value privacy and security, this hotel is not for you. We put do not disturb on the door all day and they came into the room anyway. There is no traveler safe in the room and my son felt nervous enough about other hotel reviews that he didn't leave his electronics in the room and carried them around for a full day of sight seeing. The showers are atrocious. I had to download a pdf on the showerhead in order to figure out why it did not have functioning temperature controls. They were not installed correctly and if you do not want a scalding hot shower, you might need to turn on the water. There was also no shampoo or conditioner. You get one physical key. If you are traveling with multiple people it makes room access problematic. The breakfast was decent and the beds themselves were okay. So if you are looking for a basic hotel to crash, this place is just okay. If you are a light sleeper, or like modern hotels with full conveniences, then you should look elsewhere, as we wound up doing.

09-07-2023 10:44A classic feel, and close to some, but not without its issues. The hotel itself was not bad at all. The rooms were fairly decent. The beds were quite comfortable too but there was dust throughout the room, as well as bugs in the room. There were also outlets on each side of the beds so it made things very convenient there. The bathrooms were good and shower isn’t complicated at all. Now here’s where I have my issue, with the evening greeter. We had missed our initial flight to Edinburgh due to unforeseen circumstances and we had to change our check in time. Kaitlyn (sorry if i spelt it wrong) was wonderful u0026 told us our room was confirmed. When we arrived to the hotel, Monday August 21st night, the girl who took us in was extremely rude, condescending, and just flat out disrespectful. honestly, i’ve never had that happen before. what gives her the right to talk to people like that? even after we told them that someone from the hotel had received our message that we were arriving late, she continued to be rude for absolutely no reason. it wasn’t until i said we didn’t know about the time u0026 that we’re not from area did she then change up their attitude. didn’t matter. what a horrible person. i guess someone didn’t finish their customer service training because they didn’t even try to be understanding of our situation, they just wanted us out of there? like you’re not that special, if you don’t wanna work there, quit. also the next day, they didn’t even have the courtesy to look at us or even say hello. overall, a good hotel, but that person ruined the whole experience. they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for the way they treated us.

04-24-2023 02:30Since the review I submitted through this hotel has to be approved I figured I'd post it here too. Rigid check-in time, mildly condescending staff, terribly overpriced breakfast. No storage for luggage while you wait for 3 pm check-in. Rooms are tiny. Seems it's a pub first and a hotel second. Will not stay here again.

03-20-2023 09:38All perfect for me. Location is excellent with bus #100 passing in front the hotel and 15 minutes to the airport. To go to the town, only 20 minutes walking. The room was perfect with everything working fine. Very clean. The staff was very helpful. Definitely I recommend this hotel.
